I'm really on the fence for these. I like the retro look and simplicity of them, but struggle with the thought of having another line to collect. Especially if it dies off and we are left with an incomplete assortment of characters.

Especially if it dies off and we are left with an incomplete assortment of characters. Yeah, I hear ya. Do I need another line, even one more affordable? And honestly, the fact I wouldn't be able to decide whether to open them or leave them MOC is a huge holdup for me. Honestly I'd like to have two of each, and that means a lot more money, and thus gives me a lot more pause. Still, that Cyclops and the two Black Panthers from the Pulse exclusives are really tempting. Hasbro knew what they were doing with those first series character selections...

Picked up Peter B at Wally World today. I wanted Miles but he was already gone.
Quick question. Does anyone else here have Peter B Parker and, if so, are his joints super tight on yours as well? About the only joints I can get to move on him are the top half of his elbows. Everything else won't budge.

WandaVision inspired question...
which version of Wanda by hasbro do u like more? all-father BAF or family 3 pack version?? no wrong answers here!
originally, i favored all-father version due to the classic avengers look, but more recently, i’m kindof digging the 3 pack version alittle more

I like the family 3-pack version with Magneto and Quicksilver. It's actually one of the best female ML figures I own. She came out great (I love the hair and the paint apps on the face). I like the red on the Allfather release because it pops, but the face/head came out odd, she's kinda tall, and her outfit is meh (I'm not familiar with the appearance it's based on). I think they perfected her with the family 3-pack.

Although this is interesting news that there's a Scarlet Witch outside of it.

They should make a ML figure with the 90s Toybiz carding

I don't know the sales numbers, but I wish they'd take the Retro lines and really ramp them up. Give us one or two Marvel Superheroes, X-Men, and Spider-Man waves each year and then really get to some classic or non-current looks. Maybe do Fantastic 4 and Iron Man packaging and characters, too.
I think Hasbro screwed up with their second wave of Marvel Superheroes, though. The movies are big, but almost every slot was an Avengers character, and they completely ignored the rest of the universe, the original line, and the villains. They just didn't seem very popular. I mean, super-skinny Ant Man? Did anyone want him?

They got a bit ahead of themselves with the retro line for MSH no doubt....
2 FF waves would do gangbusters though. Split the team over 2 waves. Blue/white costumes...

If they approached them as finite lines, it could work so well. Like you say, 2 waves with two FF members in each with two to four supporting characters and villains. Make them definitive and then be done for a few years.

The Retro Wasp figure was even a good one, but no one cared. Ant Man is a perfect example of the MCU machine's lightning-in-a-bottle formula, because no one likes Ant Man that much. haha Should have had classic Daredevil and Silver Surfer instead. Even US Agent or a light blue Thor. Using all characters that never appeared in the original line made no sense to me, even though I liked them.
