The X Teams of the 90s(ie where the cash is)are definitely getting very deliberately spread out. Wolfsbane is very high on my list. Would also like Random, Shard & Wildchild to round out X Factor. X-Force Needs Feral, Rictor & Siryn. You can bet Rictor will be in his 2nd outfit like Sunspot. It's a better design. I would also love the Caliban baf re-released in his X-Force Colors. I feel we will get Excalibur in a box set... Captain Britain elsewhere in a wave but the rest ala Alpha Flight AOA...I won't be happy until my X Team has Sabertooth, Magneto, Rogue, Shadowcat, Collossus, Gambit, Nightcrawler & Storm in there to accompany what we have. 2022 is going to be the 30th anniversary of the X-Men animated series, so demand for mutants will increase. I just put up a sweet lot of 8 X-Men/X-Factor/X-Force comics on ebay to capitalize and a ML Feral has always been one of my wants.

I thought I snapped a good spy photo, but I see it's been posted elsewhere.

I picked up the Tony Stark (A.I.) and Civil Warrior at Walmart this morning. The 80th Anniversary Iron-Man is great, but this red & yellow version is the Iron-Man of my childhood. Nice! That's my Iron Man, too. Straight out of Secret Wars. I like the Modular Armor best, but I'm going to get this one and be set for Iron Mans with the Modular and Silver Centurion.

Went to walmart and target and found nothing but wolverine and omega from that Xmen wave that is gonna rot forever.
I swear everyone here begs for Xmen figures but they sit in stores forever. The only x wave so far that hasn't been a peg warmer was apocalypse.

The only x wave so far that hasn't been a peg warmer was apocalypse. So the other figures in that wave were sold out? That doesn't sound like rotting. I don't see any Legends figures rotting anymore really. The Retro X-Men wave didn't last. I never saw much of the Deadpool wave that featured X-Force. I found some once and bought them. I think maybe one other occasion I saw remnants. Some of the Age of Apocalypse wave hung around at my Gamestop, but not at Walmart or Target. The Captain Marvel movie wave and the last Abomination wave were the closest I've seen to hanging around, especially the Captain Marvel figs.

Between the 2 stores, 7 wolverine and 4 omega. 1 jean, 1 cyclops, 2 xavier. Went to another walmart after initial post..4 wolverine, 1 omega, 2 moira, 2 xavier. Only other legends at any of the 3 were 3 peter parker spiderverse. Sasquatch wave I could find Paladin and deathlok for months. The retro wave sat forever. The first x wave, rogue, kitty pryde and havok sat for nearly a year. Dazzler, shatterstar, and Polaris could be found for at least 2 years. Every weapon x figure rots. Dont get me started on old man logan. That being said, storm sold through quick, never saw Walgreens mystique, never saw psylocke, only found colossus a couple times, never saw prof x rider, only saw sabertooth and the first magneto 1 time. They have a market for sure. But outside of certain characters, that market is limited to 90s cartoon fans and hardcore comic book guys. I've NEVER been an Xmen guy, so I'm biased, but the shelves around here have been agreeing with me since wave 1.

I wish my stores were like yours. haha Figures like Colossus and Sabretooth I only ever saw at conventions for a markup. Even Cable and Shatterstar and Warpath I never saw. Full disclosure: I'm biased the other way from you, as I've always loved the X-Men. That said, I think the X-Men are bigger than you give them credit for. From the 80s until the MCU started they were as big as anything Marvel had outside of Spider-Man. Sometimes I wish Marvel had the X-Men to make movies of instead of Fox, because they never would have been neglected and lost their steam. It's awesome we've gotten the MCU we got, but if X-Men and Fantastic 4 weren't off limits, every kid would know Cyclops and Dr. Doom instead of Star Lord and Thanos. In the 90s, the X-Men got multiple sets of trading cards and video games and toys and cartoons that lasted. Their movie was the first legit comic book film outside of DC (Donner's Superman and Burton's Batman). It all died out when Phase 1 of the MCU took off and Marvel started making money and not promoting what they didn't have film rights for. I'm sure they don't regret one second of it, but it sucks they turned their back on their first team of superheroes and the team that sustained them till Iron Man was released.

I'm in the New York Metropolitan region and figures don't really sit that way around here. The HOX Wave has been restocked a couple of times at various Targets and they sell through within the week unless someone has swapped something out of it. Haven't even seen it at Walmarts.
the only retailers I see figs sitting at are Gamestop and Walgreen's, but when they do a sale those start to go as well.
Now, online, I see a bunch of pegwarmers. Figures that I should have waited on, but bought out of FOMO.
