Over $60 with tax for the cyborg spider woman is insanity I came to this thread to complain about just THIS!!!!!!!! Story Time: So I was in the Target toy clearance back end caps. I found a ML Across... Cyborg Spider Woman figure. I figured it was a fluke. Someone more than likely had left it there. But Target has been known to be crazy over the last year or so; no harm in scanning just to see. I go scan... $59!!!!!!! $FIFTY NINE WHOLE US DOLLARS!!!!!!! I left the figure next to the scanner out of protest. Not simply laziness like usual. Ok. Ok. And probably answering my own upcoming question... 1. Its a "collector" figure. So par for the last 20 years, jacked up price. 2. It is a completely unique sculpt. 3. IT is an oversized figure. BUT STILL?!!! How is this thing, even after all that, $59? Hasbro's PR oversized completely unique sculpt monster figures are only $35. McFarlane is making oversized figures with completely unique sculpts for $40. Really starting to think Hasbro has adopted a mentality of "Don't worry about the price. These nerds will keep paying it". |

Super cool to see we're getting a animated series Green Goblin. I sold all my Marvel Legends, but might have bought this one. It seems like the belt is incorrect and for the price point I believe all these new ML figures should have butterfly joints and updated articulation. I believe the glider is a tad too small and inaccurate shape wise too. It's kind of disappointing imo, especially when you're almost paying $60.

Grabbed a $15 Stealth Iron Man (no Ursa Major BAF piece) and $25 Silver Centurion from my local toy shop
Been holding out on both for a while, but figured these would be the cheapest I would find them for. Looked it up after buying and they're about $10 cheaper than ebay.

Saw Guardians Vol. 3 tonight (fantastic movie btw), and it made me want so grab some of the new wave. Luckily, there was a Target right next to my theater, so I drove over and picked up Deluxe Groot, Adam Warlock, and Ultimate Captain America (I planned on grabbing Kraglin instead of Cap, but he was out of stock).
Groot is pretty cool, wish he would've just been the BAF for the GotG Vol. 3 though. Pretty good ab crunch/articulation in general. Wish he was a lighter color of brown then the darker shade this version is.
Adam Warlock is also good looking, but the ab crunch shows a large gap when you raise his upper torso. You also can't move his head up much for flying poses. Also a minor spoiler for the movie, but I don't think he had his cape much besides the 1st scene he's in, so I wish he had a detachable cape.
Ultimate Captain America is an awesome figure, but his feet are very loose, so he keeps falling over. Besides that, his articulation is buttery smooth. Finished up with the figures I want from the Puff Adder wave, unless I see Yelena on clearance.

Yeah,I didn't think Target was getting him either,I've seen them at 4 or 5 different Targets but never saw him. Might have to pick him up if I see him at Wal-Mart, want to finish up my Cosmo
Does anybody else collect the Popcorn buckets from the movies? Some of them look great but that Rocket one is $50,I paid almost $30 for the Ghost Face one from the last Scream and I thought that was pushing it but $50 seems a little much for something like this. If anybody has Rocket or the Groot,do you think they worth the $$$ and are they nicer then the older ones? I still regret not getting that Thor one from last year.

Unboxed the Ch’od wave this weekend finally, great wave. Wish they would have given Ch’od an alternate hand and blaster, or his weird space rifle. Oh well, hopefully we get Hezibah and Raza soon. Also loving the Skrull 2 pack, Hyperion and Doc Spectrum are actually neat. And like the ‘70s Starlord and the Yondu fig.
