I started collecting back in April and have been checking Craig's list for a deal to boost my collection. Unfortunately, my area rarely has any wrestling figs posted and if there is, they're usually Jakks. I still keep checking regularly though in hopes to get lucky just once. At this point of collecting I had given up the idea of owning an Elite Scale Ring, just didn't seem like it would happen at the prices they've been selling. Until, I found this ad: So today was the day to make the deal happen. A 20 mile drive, porch pick-up and dodging a bee hanging around the rings and they were mine. Pretty much see it as I paid $1 for the basic rumbler ring(already have one, too), $2 for the blastin breakdown and a whopping $17 for the ESR. Don't know what I'm going to do with the Rumblers rings as I use the Devastadium play set to display my Rumblers (Target clearance $12.48 a couple months ago). Lucky for me there is a vintage toy store about 6 miles from my pickup and that's where I got everything else. Million Dollar Man Entrance greats complete $9.99 Roddy Piper Entrance Greats missing bagpipes $9.99 British Bulldog Hasbro $4.99 (wanting this since I was a kid) Mattel flat stands .50 ea and I bought 8 of them Also found a Toy Biz Magneto from 1991 on-card in pretty nice shape for $5 All in all, today was a good day!!

DANG..Steal of the year ? hehe congratulations bro. I would love to have the same exact deal or even better to get a ESR in my collection. thanks for sharing! Thanks! I had to wonder most of the week if the deal was really going to happen as today was the only day I could make it out that way. I still cant believe I got it that cheap and its in great condition considering it was a kid's toy, clean mat and all! Good luck to you finding the ESR at a good price!

Great deals! I bought a bunch of those Rumblers rings earlier this year when KMart had them on clearance for 2 bucks - I used them kind of as figure stands for my various displays - I like the way they look, they kind of put an emphasis on certain figures....

Great deal! That mom would feel like crap if she knew the true value of her son's Elite Scale Ring.

Congratulations! You should've whispered "You know, you could've put your kids through college with this ring" right before you left.

That's such an amazing deal. Congrats. The ESR looks mint, or close to it.

Ah a successful hunt. There is hope. When I was young and into hasbros I got in a few series late and had few stores where i grew up (nearest TRU was 3 hrs away). I thought i would never own Macho Man and Warrior 1, Andre and Akeme, but a few successful yard sales in the mid 90s proved fruitful. Glad you found a scale ring. It's no RSR but it's a great way to play.

Greatest steal ever. Just paid $200 for ESR on ebay. That seems to be the going price for a loose ESR. You basically got it for 10% of the current rate. You are a lucky guy.

I love it when people have no knowledge of what somethings worth, then blindly sell it to make a quick buck.

Thanks everyone for checking out my find! Now I have to buy a folding table for the man-cave so I can display it. Going to put the entrance stage on one end and the ring on the other, that's the only thing I can think of as it's massive! Hopefully I can get a table when I find E23 and then I'll do a 6 month collection update. Collecting is quickly getting out of hand...... According to my wife! I have a lot of catching up to do and that's the only thing getting out of hand with all the stellar elites coming up.
