And the theories are what? There are no theories. No one has any idea where it's coming from or what's causing it. Not even scientists have any clue what's causing it. No one's come up with any theories because everyone's completely baffled by it. |

It is weird but I doubt it is anything of grave concern. |

Honestly, it really just sounds like the wind whipping through the trees to me. I doubt it's anything new.
Edit: Doesn't help that at least some of these videos are admitted fakes.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, and some of these do some like bullish*t. But I swear on my PS4 preorder I just heard this sound. I was watching RAW and I heard it. I went outside. It was this sound. Now this is weird. |

Sounds like Godzilla and some elephants got together to form a vuvuzela band.My first thoughts were it's something in the upper atmosphere/ solar winds but who knows. Haha, this made me laugh. As for the noises, I have no clue what they can be. They are very eerie though. |

While I was out today I actually heard this phenomenon. Maybe I've heard it before but just dismissed it as wind but because of this thread I've been more aware of it. I couldn't hear it outside due to wind and traffic but I went into a quiet store and while I was sitting in there, I could make out noises similar to those in the original video. Lasted for at least the 15 minutes that I was in there and maybe longer but when I went back outside I couldn't make it out anymore over the closer sounds.

Obviously there's going to be some fakes out there but clearly a lot of them are legit. They've been analyzed by scientists, now we know what they are and it's nothing supernatural like I figured. What's the issue? |

Im skeptic. I dont simply dismiss this, but im not exactly alarmed by this. However, that 5:10-20 one sounds exactly like War of the Worlds aliens. and IDK how to feel about that because: A. That was a movie and movies arent real, but some people know what to correlate that sound with so it makes it seem like a cute fake novelty. but B. If for some reason there is actual correlation between the sound and what we recognize it from, we're  ed. Like ed hard. |

When I lived on my great-uncles farm I heard these noises, we were picking hay bales off the field and it stopped us both lol

Some of those are clearly just strong winds. The others sound like whales or mega farts, and idk what those are.
