I don't know about recent Live Event crowds, but the crowds on Raw (not sure about SD! I work during their show hours) have been amazing the past few months. I'm seeing more crowd signs - slowly but surely, and more chants. I love it!

I've enjoyed the random Randy Savage, JBL, Michael Cole, and Jerry Lawler chants.

They've been a significant improvement. Heels actually matter right now, and that is something that has been missing for years. It's easy to get lackadaisical when the hero always wins. The Shield were the only real exception, and they had just been floating around prior to the administration angle.

I was at a live event just recently and even though the building wasn't full the crowd was fantastic.

I like the Titus O'Neil crowd stuff lately.
He could be a legit main eventer someday.

Yes, because chanting Randy Savage, JBL, Michael Cole, and Jerry Lawler instead of paying attention to the match or chanting for the participants equals an amazing crowd.

It's cause of Daniel Bryan and the YES! chants. Gets people really excited and involved.

I have mixed feelings about those kinds of chants. It's not quite as insulting as "boring", which is a good thing. Still, it's somewhat insulting to the guys in the ring. It does, however, give an active gauge on what the crowd does and doesn't care about. The only question is whether or not WWE puts any stock into it. Scratch that, if WWE put any stock into crowd reactions, Alberto Del Rio wouldn't have a job.

To be fair, chanting "Yes!" is pretty hard to screw up...

Fans seem more excited to be at these shows than they've been in like 10 years now . It's pretty cool. Like last night for example when the last four wwe guys attacked Rollins the place exploded.

lol.. when people were chanting "Randy Savage" at the event in Toronto, a Randy Savage impersonator got up and starting acting like Savage. He was even dressed like him. The crowd then started to cheer for him even though there was a match going on lol

Yeah, it seems almost like every crowd wants to out-do the Mania, Post Mania, Toronto, Philly, NY, UK, and Chicago crowds. Which is good I guess, as it can sometimes improve the show or spin off into something big.

If they can't get the fans to care, that's their fault. If I were there, I'd chant JBL over sitting on my thumbs because I'm being bored to death.

I'd say a fan thats actually chanting something, rather than twiddling their thumbs, is amazing by comparison. Before, if WWE did something awesome every once in awhile, the crowd would correspond. Now, if WWE isn't giving them something to cheer, then screw it we're going to chant anyway. That's amazing. A loud crowd = amazing. Loud crowd > death silent crowd.

There's a very distinct difference between a hot crowd and a bunch of disrepsectful smarks. "You can't wrestle" being chanted by 1500 fat lazy turds is not a hot crowd, it's annoying and takes me out of the show.
