I hope this leads to a fig, and even though realistically signing a figure deal is probably not the first thing that is going to happen as soon as Hogan leaves (whenever that is, because this is in no way set in stone), a fig and Mania XXX appearance were the first things that jump into my mind. If nothing else I hope the Hogan figures start pumping out sooner than later.
And just for the sake of argument I know I may be the minority of one, but despite some of his poor decisions I have enjoyed TNA more since Hogan has been there. I think some of his ideas (particularly going on the road) would have been excellent had TNA had more money to spend, and I think that TNA absolutely needs to go on the road if they are going to grow. That's what Dixie wanted, growth. Growth takes time and money. They definitely can't afford growth and Hogan, who I assume is making about a million a year. Hell, going on the road might even work without Hogan's huge contract. If Hogan does go I hope they either go back and get some of the people they released or get new people because I do want them to succeed. No more former mid-card WWEists or washed up MMAists. To those of you who think that TNA will suddenly do a 180 and be completely awesome the second Hogan leaves, you are crazy. Hogan has far less to do with the bad writing than you may want to blame him for.
But more than any of that I want my damn Hogan figs!!!! He is the most glaring omission from the Legends/Flashback line (yes, I consider them one line). Once the Hogan figures start I will be reasonably satisfied with the Legends/Flashback line.
Edit: You should probably change the name of this thread. The title pretty much spoils it all anyway.

From all that I have read about Hogan and TNA, they hate that he came in and made so many changes. Supposedly they are not happy with the direction he has taken things. Again i am no expert. Im just stating my opinion. No I dont think its ECW but its not too far off. Hogan had nothing to do with the changes, they might of been his ideas, but at the end of the day, he's just an employee, TNA officials are the one who initiated the changes. You know what man I was going to keep writing and debating you but its pointless. We obviously have two very different opinions. Like I stated in earlier posts I was stating my opinion not fact. Truth is I do not work for TNA and have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. This thread was started about a Hogan figure. Sorry if I caused it to run away from that.

Am I the only one who hopes Hogan just stays gone from wrestling? It'll never happen, but oh well.

Even as a kid I always liked anybody that went against Hogan. Thats how I became such a huge Macho Man fan. Hogan was good for wrestling in the 80's and even the 90's with his heel turn but enough is enough already. Thank you for stating what was in my head. Sorry to hulkamania4life for the comments ive just never been a fan

It all depends on if WWE will pay him 1,000,000 a year. Which is basically what he makes with TNA. 30-35K per appearance, 30 shows on avg. per year. WWE is going to need Hogan for their network if the sh*t ever gets off the ground. People like him, JR, and others hosting stuff are a must. It all depends really.
And there's no question, the day he signs with WWE Mattel will start work on a Hogan figure. Probably the most wanted Mattel figure of all time!

Dear sweet baby Jesus let it be true. Hogan being gone from TNA would be fantastic news. Hopefully Eric Bischoff and his doofus son get a boot to the back of the ass as well.
This is really so simple. TNA is better off without Hogan and my Mattel collection is better off with Hogan. I think Mattel jumps all over Hogan before the ink is dry on his legends contract. I think Hogan's already spoken with WWE and I expect him to be back and likely marketing the WWE game next month as long as there aren't any non compete issues.

Don't think it matters how much WWE will pay him if TNA is paying him 0. No one else will pay as much as wwe anyways, so where normally I'd say the money is the issue, I don't think it will be the case this time, as it will be the only money.

I'll start by saying that I have a very healthy amount of Legends. However, I have at least one of every active roster guy they've made except for modern Ricky Steamboat from the Jericho 2 pack.
So what's the deal, why be completionist with one roster and not the other? No Hulk Hogan, no Ric Flair. That's what. I have a hard time wanting to tackle the Legends roster due to the lack of them. It would be like starting a DC Universe Classics collection only to find out that the line isn't going to have Batman and Superman.

I'd definitely take Surfer Sting or nWo sting any day of the week. In fact, if we could get a complete nWo, that'd be great. But for now, Flair and Hogan are 2 of the biggest household names of all time in wrestling and we don't have Mattel versions of them.

I don't think it's anything to worry about in the least, I mean heck, he might even be the catalyst of a Legends line revival. I'll buy every one they make.

I hope Hogan leaves TNA - and signs a lifetime deal with WWE for figures, merch, and special appearances etc. There's always going to be Hogan haters (similar to Cena's), but simply put, he is the Babe Ruth of pro-wrestling... the most influential and over guy in the history of the business.

Probably just the story line. I doubt Hogan will sign with WWE to do a one night appearance, when he can appear every week and get paid by TNA. WWE might want him, but not to be on the show weekly... Or even monthly. They want him for a one night pop and that's it. According to reports, this storyline was done in case contract negotiations fall through. His contract is up in October and they are in negotiations. Just like Mr.Anderson and Mickie James and AJ Styles. Everyone's contract is being looked at. There is a good chance that Hogan may leave, and Vince would probably sign him for nothing more than he's Hogan. If he does sign, I hope its more of a Legends deal with some type of personal appearance/occasional TV type deal and not an re occurring on air role. Of course, now it seems WWE needs a good guy in position of power.......

I've NEVER been a big fan of Hulk Hogan. But I still want his figure on my shelf. Feels odd without an official Hogan (and Flair) up there.

I think its a pretty safe bet that Hulk Hogan will be back in the WWE and as early as Jan '14.Two big reason why is in 2014 it's the 30th anniversary of "Hulkamania" when he first won the WWF Title and also the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania.Theirs tons and tons of money that can be made off the Hulkster in Toys,Video games,T-Shirts,DVD's...ect and I am pretty sure he wants to wrestle atleat "One More Match" and is saving it for the WWE and not TNA.
Even if it cost the WWE $1M for a year to sign him I think in the long run it would be worth it.Even if you only use him on TV from time to time and not on a weekly bases he'll more them make up for the money he's being payed again on merch.

Hulk Hogan is not being advertised for the upcoming Impact taping in my hometown (Salt Lake City) and TNA doesnt have very many shows planned for the next while. I will be curious to see what happens with Hogan.
