I also feel that his 211 game suspension is a bit excessive. He's failed one drug test a few years back, the one where his name was leaked as the anonymity was broken, but I think the MLB is just trying to make an example of him. Should he be suspended? Yes. For 211 games? No.

Best thing about the game last night. I didn't think we would beat Kewshaw. But what upset me most was the same old Braves. Awful mistakes and mental errors in the game. You can see the southern drawl too, plus shes kinda cute.

MLB is just as guilty for violating the confidentiality aspect as A-Rod

Never said MLB is innocent in all this, but A-Rod deserves what he gets. Guy played AFTER being suspended, I know its how it works, but Jesus. Come on.

Players voted to have that right, a player uses it, everyone freaks out because the player was A-Rod. A-Rod is guilty but MLB, as usual, went about this the wrong way (which is a shady way).

He'll probably get suspended but not for 211 games. That was just ridiculous.

Braves got lucky with that call, Gordon was safe on the steal.
Also ballsy of them to go for the double play instead of the out at home in the 7th.

Hanley Ramirez is a beast. Hopefully, coming home, we'll get the job done

Sometimes I forget the Dodgers have the 2009 All Star team.

Has anyone noticed the Oakland A's are basically the Red Sox of the West Coast? So many former players.

I'm not an A-Rod or Yankees fan but I feel what A-Rod did was no worse than what Braun did...yet Braun's punishment was nowhere near as harsh as A-Rods. Could it be because of Selig's connection to Milwaukee?
Anyway back to the Post Season...Just one more win until the the Pirates are in the NCLS.

I dont want to research it all but didnt ARod supposedly try to undermine the entire thing? Testing and all that? The Miami scandal, he tried to buy the documents and all kinds of stuff? He should get a year. Thats my opinion.

I think that was Von Miller of the Broncos. But yes supposedly A-Rod did try the records. But that But is no worse than Braun blaming the sampler collector and trying to get him fired knowing d@mn well he was guilty. I feel the same way about Bonds/Clemmons. Bonds was the scapegoat and Clemmons pretty much got off Scott free when he was just as guilty and lied as well.

Kershaw is now pitching tonight on 3days rest. I would have saved him until game 5, but it probably won't matter. Braves may score a couple of runs off of him now, but we'll still lose probably 7-2.
Obviously if this backfires, then momentum has just changed big time with game 5 in Atlanta and no Kershaw.

I'd jump in and mock the Braves for being one and done except for the fact that I'm still in shock at finishing next to last.

Few things about that. Deadspin is pretty much the tmz of sports. Chipper is kind of a douche. If that is true, which it easily could not be, it probably has more to do with Chippers attitude and other things he has said and done more than his prediction about the series. Braves deserved to lose for poor managing and awful defense alone. I still consider the season a good one considering the stiffs they had starting and how bad their hitters were.
