We all know I have a guy that makes custom playsets for me. But what I don't get is this...
Sometimes I post the custom in the Jakks thread WHEN I feature Jakks figures in it.
Someone tell me HOW is that any different from someone posing their Jakks figures on a custom shelf that they made? Both feature Jakks figures so BOTH are on topic. Just because mine is fancier than a shelf is not cause for a 25% warning label.
I mean is the rule you can post pics of your collection but do not set them up in an interesting way? Or if you post pics of your Jakks collection they HAVE to be on a shelf or a floor in order for it to be acceptable?
I guess I fail to see the logic..
What if I posted a pic of a Mattel figure and a Jakks figure side by side? Which forum would it go in or would someone's head explode if I had to make a judgement call?

You answered your own question. Customs go in the customs board (or a fixup thread) they dont belong on the main page of the JAKKS or Mattel board. Some slip through the cracks, usually by people who are well liked. However if people dont like you, your thread will likely get reported. Best option is to just post your custom where it belongs and not try to whore it out throughout the entire site.

Actually no. How about say...posting Jakks figures on a custom that I already did. That is not new? Where is the line drawn between shelf and a playset?

I'm sure your arguing will get your warning label removed and also if you just follow the rules like you should this wouldn't happen.

I was thinking the same thing, if the purpose of your thread is about customs, like all your awesome set pieces, then it goes in Customs. Doesnt matter if youre including figures to show the size of the set and such
