Can't believe NWO version is last. I really hope they give us that version as a running chsnge regardless like Nash.

You wouldn't have Hogan's first mattel figure be in a full blown white body singlet, just didn't make much sense. I think if MDT posted "We just got the rights to Hogan, which would you guys prefer out of these? 1. Late 80s/Early 90s Hulkamania 2. nWo Hollywood Hogan 3. 2002 Hulk Still Rules 4. Black trunks from when he fought Inoki in Japan in 1983" There'd be a few people voting number 4 and getting really upset that it wasn't winning. Anybody who has 4 different choices will have fans of one of the choices over the others even if it doesn't appeal to the masses. With Hogan we'll get a thousand figures but with Luger we may only get one.

I REALLY want an NWA Luger w/Long hair in either black or blue trunks as well. but a USA Luger or Narcissist should be 1st. I see no reason all 4 choices couldnt be made over time.
Narcissist with his robe & mirror would be a very cool RSC exclusive. then do USA & NWA luger for one flashback series. short pack NWA luger and he'll be a big sell out as well.

With Hogan we'll get a thousand figures but with Luger we may only get one. And that's exactly why it makes more sense to put him in a detailed attire. He wore plain black trunks hundreds of times before and after his WWE run. It's an easy fix up for anyone. That way, you can have two different Luger's even if they only ever release one.

if they make usa lex then we will have nwa lex. simple. just acetone off the designs and you have lex in white or swap trunks. if they give lex short hair then sculpt longer hair or do a hair transplant
it'll work out
and if you want a narcissist then just repaint
would be nice to get an official narccissist with mirror as an excl . though.
if you want nwo luger then use the ringmasters head already out. its perfect for nwo lex

But imagine if they actually did make that over classic red and yellow... the out cry would be immensely greater lol. As our pal HHH says, do what's best for business and so I can't help but believe they should stick with safer attires for now. Think of Big Boss man for example, I'd love a swat version, but it made more sense for the 80s version first since that's arguably more iconic of a look. Let the popularity of the flashbacks continue to build so that we continue to get these awesome figures and then hopefully we'll get variant attires down the road.

Didn't get to vote but I agree with the results. Only NWO should be over NWA just because he only wore solid colors and that's an easy fix up as it has already been stated (with NWO we would at least get a shirt). But either way this is good news. It doesn't matter which version they put out I will be buying it that is for sure!

Hulk Rules WWF Hogan and nWo Hogan should come out in the same elite wave just like Diesel/Nash did if (or when) they do him.

Didnt get to vote but I'm really hoping for a Narcissist figure (with cape possibly?). As much as I would love an NWA version of Luger its way too easy of a fix up for EVERYONE. I, personally, always loved the Narcissist gimmick =)

man if this poll isn't a perfect example of this hobby and its people....yes "USA Lex" won....but it wasn't any kind of landslide over 2nd place...and all the others are still close. Will really be interested in seeing what Luger we actually end up with

This is certainly a good news! i would like if Narcissist wins this poll because we havn't got that figure since hasbro line. But what about the Total Package 1999 Luger? i know...i know... that era ain't so cool as others but it would be fun to see it actually made by mattel. Lex Express Lex Luger could be nice and he fits perfectly with other new gen era figures such as Yokozuna,Diesel,Bret Hart,Undertaker...

I am pumped about Luger! He was on my top ten must haves in terms o flashbacks! As much as I want the Nwa version, the American Made will be just fine also! I could finally put him over against Yokozuna, lol!

Hulk Rules WWF Hogan and nWo Hogan should come out in the same elite wave just like Diesel/Nash did if (or when) they do him. I like the idea, but I don't think they'd release such a huge/wanted figure as nWo Hogan in the same way they did with Nash (only in revised/B cases) - they'd probably release him as a regular Flashback.

I'd also like to see those two versions right out of the gate, but there would be no reason to split the cases. Hogan is a huge enough name that you could pack both figures heavy in the cases and they'd still be crazy hard to find.

I could easily see Mattel doing one of those "Evolution of Hogan" box sets similar to what they did with Rey Mysterio with 5 or 6 Basics in it as well.
