I'm hoping for the star spangled Luger over all I think mattel will knock this out of the park. I find the NWA Luger to be pretty plain.

I voted for the stars and stripes, but I wouldn't mind an nWo Luger with a ponytail, black trunks, tall white boots and a Wolfpac shirt.
I have no interest in a Narcissist figure.

My first memory of Lex Luger is The Narcissist debuting at Royal Rumble 1993 (and Heenan's commentary over it), so I voted for that. Besides, if that one is chosen, you can easily swap the trunks with plain old black trunks (like there's not an abundance of those in the Elite line...) and BAM! your blessed 4 Horsemen Luger, right there. Well, unless they give him Made In The USA hair for some reason.

Is Allied Powers Lex Luger the same as All American Lex Luger who had the feud with Yokozuna?? If he's different, I'd rather have a Lex Luger where we dont have to wait a really long time for his tag team partner. (Legends 3 Bulldog doesnt count because Davey had long hair for that tag team) Actually Allied Powers Luger was different to the Luger that fought Yokozuna. During his time in the Allied Powers he had longer hair and it wasn't really a mullet, and he had an entrance jacket. But the basic attire is the same. If Allied Powers wins everyone who voted for it should be banned.  If Horsemen Luger doesn't win then Mattel better hurry up and make Barry Windham.  I can't believe this man, Everyone wants usa lex because they only know WWE and haven't seen the NWA in the 80's. Anyone claiming his first wwf run was his hottest is F.O.S. He was hot in 86ish, he and Barry widnham were the best thing since the road warriors for a time. That US title reign and build up to it is Ledgendary. Oh well, screw it, just make the head Mattel, I'll buy it make my own Luger, already have the booths and torso, just need me a head. I'll put the red white and blue knee pads on a Angle. Or maybe people just want to have a Luger with a detailed attire and some interesting accessories. It's not as if there aren't an abundance of black trunk pieces out there so they can very easily have two different Luger's. |

WCW version, ponytail, black trunks, black pads, white boots. Can kinda double as an Attitude version and a 4H version.
I'd be OK with a Wolfpac jeans version, but the trunks version's ability to double up would make it preferable.
Looking at everyone else we've gotten, getting a Attitude era version would just make more sense for him to fit in.
Save the USA version for a RSC esclusive

They need to milk Lex for all he's worth just like they have with Savage or Warrior in terms of different attire. They could easily get 2 elite and detailed figures out of the Narcissist and USA versions. And they could do basic versions of horsemen era and 91 era attires. At the very least a battle pack of black trunks lex and a basic Flair somewhere down the line.

I'm glad that USA Lex is winning, you really can't go wrong with USA or Narcissist. At a push I would have chosen Narcissist as I think that gimmick was amazing (and way too short lived). I'm a big fan of Luger, and I enjoy his NWA/NWO looks, but voting for the plain looking attires seems so stupid when they'd be easy to fix up.
If I had my way, they'd do an Elite Narcissist and a 2 pack of the Allied Powers with their jackets.
I was always pissed off that Jakks did a boring attire for Luger, and CSDA's always sucked ass. He hasn't had a Narcissist figure since the early 90s.

For those of you saying the NWA version is an easy fix-up, the hair is much different. The NWA version has longer, flowing hair and he's younger.
That's like saying a DX HBK head would work fine for a 92 era Michaels. It's just too different. Guess it's a moot point though since USA is easily winning.
I'm surprised the Narcissist version is doing so well. That one could be the easy fix up version.
Hey MDT, could Luger get multiple versions? He's got four main contenders and they're all different enough that he could sell with all four.
