I just hope this fig looks better than the jakks one. Been waiting for a proper USA Luger for along time...would also love the Narcissist.

I guess that I'm a moron too for voting NWA "Total Package" Leg Luger in first, 2). USA Luger, 3). Narcissit Luger & 4). WcW Lex Luger(Wolfpack or Regular WcW). Most of you who want the two WWF Lex Luger figure have to remember that he first started in the "Classic NWA" long before he went to The WWF & he cut his hair short before he was the very first person to ever wear the WcW World Heavyweight Wrestling Championship belt that he stole from Barry Windham, but then lost it to Sting in '92. But Mattel should also come up with a "Ravishing" Rick Rude figure with his '70s long hair before coming back & having that fued with The Ultimate Warrior. Mattel should also make a Barry Windham figure(singles) or with his brother-in-law(Mike Rotundo(not Rotunda) figure with the "Classic WWF World Tag Team Wrestling Championship belts.

As long as MDT stay true and give Lex a shoulder-length hairstyle like those Allied Powers reference pics, then I think it could work for a late 80s/horsemen Lex too. They are not going to reinvent the wheel, he'll get the Triple H (why do we type out Triple H? Isn't HHH shorter?!) torso treatment. I just hope they give him tall white boots and for the love of all that is holy, some old-school knee pads and not leg sleeves. If THIS type of Allied Powers Lex comes out, then yeah, NWA Lex is a breeze fix-up. u can never be too sure what torso MDT will use. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the Sheamus torso. As they seem to love randomly using that (Sandow, BOPPV Bret, Del Rio) the HHH mold would work. but a part of me likes the new Cena mold more. As Luger was super ripped in WWF. i want the skin tone super dark too. |

I personally would like to see an NWA IV Horseman Lex. Doesn't necessarily mean he has to be a boring figure in black trunks. NWA Lex could be in blue, yellow or red trunks, i'm actually rooting for yellow trunks, that would be very cool. Then i'd want a Narcissist Lex, then Allied Powers. Not interested in NWO at all.

Looks like USA Luger it is....cause people are women and want "bright colors that pop".....Of course if the figure sits on the shelf too long someone will be quick to point out we dont need anymore "old NWA guys" even though the only nwa guys we've ever had sold and still sell like hot cakes. Im gonna start digging out my old JAKKS collection. Guessing that was directed at me since I used the quoted phrase exactly. Let me fill you in on something hammer, MDT was asking for opinions and I was happy to hear that, so I gave mine. I'm not going to apologize if I am capable of using something other than my own personal preference when trying to persuade Mattel to listen to an opinion. And if that makes me a 'woman' I'd really have to question that, since I am not the one getting my panties in a wad because my view, at least in this thread, isn't being shared by the majority. Hey dude, I love NWA figures too, but it's a personal preference and want something deserving of my $20. But continue to insult people who share a view that's different yours, that's the ticket. Back on topic - I want Mattel to create something that's worth my ~$20 for an Elite and the detail that it would take to create an Allied Powers or Narcissist figure would be more of a value than say, a solid trunks and boots NWA/WCW version of Luger. |

Narcissist Luger for me, Jakks have already done a USA themed and Horsemen themed ones and unless they intend to do the rest of the NWO it won't be much good otherwise.

I'm an old school fan myself, but having store shelves clogged with another mulleted black trunks old guy that kids will look past is not a good way to keep the legends/flashback part of the line going. We need strong sales from guys like Luger so in the future we can get other New Gen and before guys we don't have yet, and the best way to do it is have Lex in his most famous and colorful attire to attract more buyers. |

Narcissist complete with cape (and possibly a mirror) would be an awesome figure.
USA Lex is how I remember him the most, being a kid....when he slammed Yokozuna, was amazing. I still wish they had pulled the trigger and given him even a brief WWF title run
If they were gonna go the WCW route I'd almost want a hybrid.....plain black trunks with a wolfpac cloth shirt & a shiny WHC.
ultimately i voted Lex Express. i'm sure they could give him a cool accessory and the attire would be great

I've said this publicly before.. I want to see Mattel make all characters/attires from the WWF Raw game. We already have Bret, Diesel, Undertaker, Yokozuna, Shawn Michaels, and sort of Bam Bam Bigelow. Now Luger.. Hoping for Razor Ramon and Doink the Clown! im probably the only person who had the Sega 32X version. so add Kwang to that list  Kwang was in that version??! I hope that Mattel sees the interest in this post and decides to make all/nearly all versions they posted in Elite and basic form. I would be all over it! |

man just SOOOOOOOO pumped to finally be getting a Luger!
the flashbacks are awesome. both my walmart & target got elite22 recently. the only fig sold out of those sets so far is the Flashback Giant.
