Finally.... FINALLY picked this up today at Wal-Mart in GA. Maybe it's because I've searched so long, but I am really loving this figure. Anyone have any solid, foolproof methods to remove his coat?

I just cut that crap off, and ordered a cloth coat from Ralphies.

Boil some water and let it sit for a few minutes and then the jacket will be rubbery enough for you to remove it without an issue.

I checked out Ralphie's, their cloth coat is very nice but I really like the plastic for display purposes. My only problem is that I want to be able to display with or without coat as I feel.

Move both arms back and just slide it off...

Yeah pretty much. Just when you want to put it back on, reheat the jacket with boiling water and put it back on.

I just checked that site to see the custom "E23" Undertaker cloth coat... It looks awful, but it's one of his better ones. His WM28 coat is really bad.
In my experience, the plastic coat with Elite 23 Undertaker is the hardest one to get off and on. I don't know what makes it so much more awkward than all the others, I can only assume it's because of his gloves. You might need to do the hot water trick every time you take it off, unless you want to spend five minutes wrestling it each time.

My thing is that I think I just want to see his arms once and then display him with the coat on.

BCA series 2 Undertaker was the second wrestling figure I ever owned from way back when it was at retail, so I am sort of biased in saying this figure is in my top ten of all time. He's very playable, looks great on display, the scale makes him as massive as he should be next to other figures, and most of all the nostalgia factor. I bought two just in case the first one breaks.
I wish the gloves and tie were the same shade of purple, but that doesn't really matter.

I cut the coat off mine. I was gonna display him w/o it anyways and didn't feel like dealing with getting that thing on and off. But this Taker is my favorite figure in my collection. Only have wanted this figure since 1996 when I first started watching and he and HBK were my favs.. Never got the jakks purple one when I was a kid and all the later versions they put out years ago were a joke. Finally a great amazing figure of my favorite attire he wore.

I recently got this figure too. It is definitely up there in my top figures. I took the coat off of mine fairly easily. I didn't really have any trouble with it.

Easily one of the best elite figures ever. Actually elite 23 is a great set. Ranks up there with elite 6 and elite 19.

Just buy a second one - one to display with the coat on, and one to have without the coat.

I used my man muscles to remove the coat. Then I added the EG takers coat instead. Just need the urn from Punk and voila... I'm done.

This is a awesome figure. Myn is on its way along with some other Elite 23 ones. I still like the SDCC Taker the most out of all his figures but this is def my 2nd favorite.

Great score!! I love this figure and it's my favorite of the year too. Brings back fond childhood memories. The Undertaker of this era was my favorite wrestler..... Lol then came The Rock!
