I did mine out of metal and it was probably wrong. I never grew up with the NWA. Epic matches to be had for sure. The WWE should really bring them back.

thanks, seemed pretty simple, my original plan was to make a scaffold out of Lego Technic parts which I figured would look really cool. Sadly finding specific parts arent as easy to buy as I thought and Ive forgotten how parts are measured and such so blueprints were a pain to figure out.

Heres the latest addition to my Arena in progress...the HAW Entrance stage It looks less purple toned in person, I used a crimson paint to give it a deeper color as opposed to a plain red, might repaint but with all the layers and details it might be too much of a pain, working on the backstage section soon. Next, an attempt at guardrails These were a major pain, figuring out how to hold them together while the glue was setting and not glue it to the table was not easy lol. In they end theyre more to scale and cheaper to make than buying the rails from spam. Theyre not too shabby but not sure about the size, they seem tall enough but I think I need to make them a bit longer and possibly make the bottom bar closer to the floor. Thoughts?

lol yea Im takin a shot at a pic fed, Hardcore Aggression Wrestling, probably gonna change the name in a storyline once I find something a little more fitting, then again my fed is meant to be a bit of a jab at indy wrestling and all the BS Ive dealt with; crappy names, cheap sets n tiny building lol

looks good, I like the rails, i think the bottom needs to be a bit closer to the floor if you were to change anything, but I don't think it would really matter once you have them all the way round.

GOt to figure out how to keep the rails standing when the figs hit them, these and the spam ones look like they'd tip over if someone fell out of the ring.
I like the entrance stage, maybe use some foil somewhere to give it a little shine?
I've been trying to figure out a way to join dowel rods like you have done, My first thoughts are glue wouldnt be strong enough alone, Maybe if you predrilled them for some small finishing nails on top of a lil wood glue? THis all seems like a lot of work to make 30 rails or a full sized classic cage though... ><
please update with how sturdy the only glue version turned out.

it took a long time to secure the dowels with rubber bands while the glue dried, the first one didnt dry totally straight, but overall they look pretty good. I think Im gonna drop the bottom and stretch them out a little further, maybe lower them overall as well. I used gorilla glue and they held pretty well, need to sand down the excess though

Some new pics, made some headway on my guardrails. I went off the protos I made and altered the measurements slightly, made the new ones longer and slightly shorter, closer to real scale. Gonna sand down the glue and paint them over the weekend. Still relatively cheap to make, shouldnt cost me much more to go all the way around and up the entrance ramp If anyone wants them, you're welcome to the protos if youre looking to make your own

Nice, I like those Guardrails a lot better. I suggest you coat them in plastic dip! My posts I did like that are indestructable. I also like those floor mats too, great idea.
