Does anyone else remember these? I just posted a story on the Mattel board about how when I was a kid, I saw a Hart Foundation and Killer Bees but the belts had been stolen and I didn't get them. Looking back now I think I should have.

The tag packs? Of course. They also made these but they were quite uncommon. Image found via Google:

May have been a Canada thing? I'm sure someone will know. I think they had a small handful of variety for them.
Anyway that sucks that the belts were missing from those tag packs and especially that it caused you to not purchase. I remember back in the day when I used to see packages torn open so people could steal accessories. Shameful.

The LJN value packs are awesome. I've seen pictures of 4 or 5 different packs online, never in person and only once on ebay. I remember reading that these were most found in the northern US and Canada and they were all made with overstock of early series LJN figures and came with a random poster. They also were not secured in from what I have read, so they look really bootleg.

those two packs are pretty cool...i vividly remember going to a neighbour's birthday party here in the toronto area in 1989, 5th birthday party, and he got that hercules and billy jack haynes two pack... i wanted them so bad because i had about 35 LJNs or so, but neither of those two... ended up trading him my extra referee (white shirt) for his billy jack with hat lol..

The BJH vs Hercules set is mine. Only time I ever saw one sell on eBay.
I think it were just factory overstock figures randomly thrown together in a value pack.
