I think it's a good figure, not a great figure.
Andre was such a huge sports attraction for decades that Mattel could have really invested a bit more and made a mold for larger hands - Andre deserved that. His hands in real life were enormous.
Also, the boots are the wrong size, Mattel later corrected this with the release of the Giant. The Giant figure has the correct-sized boots that Andre should have had.
And you've already heard about the cloth singlet vs molded.

Mattel's Andre is leaps better than any other Andre out there.

Andre is one of my favorite figures from this line. My others are Elite 12 Kane, SDCC Taker, L6 Warrior, L2 Roberts.

I wish it didn't have a cloth singlet. Same for Bundy. Hopefully I will get them one day to rid my shelves of the decent-mediocre Jakks renditions of the wrestlers.

Does anybody agree with me that Legends Andre is the best Andre figure to date by any company? I personally feel it is the best figure mattel has released or at least top 5. Do you guys really think the head looks nothing like andre? The only thing I would have wanted changed with this figure is a sculpted singlet. I love my Andre.

I'd love to see Mattel find a way to re-release Andre as a Flashback so more people would have the chance to pick him up. Maybe this time he could have a molded, navy blue singlet and bushy sideburns. I'm awfully partial to the Andre Hasbro, but objectively speaking, Mattel's is probably the best. The Jakks one with blue trunks and red boots was very good too, but the Mattel edges it out. Definitely agree with this. Mattel Flashback of blue sculpted singlet and sideburns i.e. early 1990 would be fantastic. Sell it with the Classic Tag Strap and you got a must-have!

Until another one comes along, that legends Andre figure is the best figure of him to date. I love mine too much!
