The original count was fantastic. He was, and I was a little sad when he got Arrow'd off. But his replacement is one hell of an actor so I guess I can live with it. Dont know him. More interested in the Brandon Routh Atom casting right now.

I've seen it, yet I remember nothing from it. Oh god, now I'm going to end up digging through the VHS' all night. Maybe I can find my copy of Welcome to the Videos while I'm at it...

If you've ever seen the second Jurassic Park, he played Dieter Stark, the guy who got eaten by the tiny green dinosaurs. Never seen any Jurassic Park films and never will. Uncultured . Regardless, he's a great character actor and I'm interested to see how he does. The other guy taking over as the head of Queen Consolidated, however, I'm not sure how I feel. If you've ever seen the second Jurassic Park, he played Dieter Stark, the guy who got eaten by the tiny green dinosaurs. I've seen it, yet I remember nothing from it. Oh god, now I'm going to end up digging through the VHS' all night. Maybe I can find my copy of Welcome to the Videos while I'm at it... It was a great flick. At times I think it may be my favorite of the three. You don't own Welcome to the Videos on DVD? crap son. The only thing I don't have on DVD is the Making ing Videos tapes cause they never got put out on DVD.

I have so much GN'R related DVD/CD stuff, I have no idea where half of it is.

Remind me someday to show you a picture of my shrine music room. Back on topic. I was listening to the podcast Fat Man on Batman with Kevin Smith last night and he had I believe Neal Adams on the show. He mentioned to Kev that Arrow was casting Ra's Al Ghul back in January.

Soooo, I've never watched the Arrow, but I want to watch the upcoming Flash show. Is it only right to watch this show first? Are they directly linked to Smallville? How good is the show, and are they following it's comic roots well? Thanks if anyone can answer these for me.

Arrow in of itself is my favorite show that's been on TV since Buffy went off the air. I personally think it's absolutely amazing. That being said, we don't really know how intertwined they are. Obviously they're in the same world and there will be some crossover type things, but I doubt it's required to watch Arrow to enjoy Flash.
Required to watch Arrow to properly enjoy life, sure, but not Flash.

If you're not interested in Arrow then I would recommend just watching the 2 episodes that Gustin has done on Arrow, so Three Ghosts and The Scientist. The Scientist introduces the character and Three Ghosts injects the Flash crossover. I highly recommend Arrow though. It's awesome.

Besides Game of Thrones, Arrow would have to be the show I look forward to more than any other.

Barry Allen was simply introduced to the Arrow audience to help introduce the character, since the shows will have cross over stories. I've already heard that Arrow/Flash have a crossover story this season that will see another appearance by Stephen Amell on Flash and Barry Allen's return to Starling City.

www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=103867YESSSSSS! TV Guide have the scoop on when we'll see the first team-up between Green Arrow and The Flash, and it's set to happen much sooner than any of us expected! Though some characters will be seen both of The CW shows, the first major crossover is set to take place during the first half of each of their third and first seasons respectively. "Episodes 8 of both shows, Arrow and Flash, are going to be a two-hour crossover event," Andrew Kreisberg revealed to the site. "[Also], in Episode 4, Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] is going to come to The Flash." As we already know, The Tomorrow People's Robbie Amell is set to play one half of Firestorm, and it was revealed during The Flash's TCA panel that the other half, Martin Stein, will later be introduced after very nearly being included in the pilot episode. Are you guys looking forward to the two-hour crossover between Arrow and The Flash? Sound off with your thoughts on this news in the comments section below. I'm excited to see how these crossovers go.
I've never been much of a Flash guy, but I really want to see how the show turns out. If it's even half as good as Arrow, I'll be happy.

I fear Flash. Arrow is established staple. Why is Flash being so piggybacked on Arrow? Is this a cheap pop for ratings, please the comic junkies or is it cuz there is fear by CW that Flash is NOT as good as Arrow? It seems so much is being put into season 1 of The Flash.

I never cared about Flash. Ever. He's always been there for me like Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman as DC properties I could never give a crap about. But I watched the leaked pilot because there was a cameo from the Green Arrow. So I could see where them tying into Arrow could be an advantage for Flash. I just hope it doesn't up Arrow.

I dont think Arrow itself can suffer. As long as Arrow stays being Arrow....its fine.
