Is it really the kids that's are constantly buying Cenas? Or is it us (the collecters) ? I mean think about it. Who would be more to buy Cena in every updated attire he had? Kids who just say "no mom I has John Cena" or the collectors who need to get every updated attire. I'll admit I'm a collector, and I buy all the updated Cenas. So just think about that.

Too many Cenas to have 1 in every attire. I have 2 basic Cenas and 2 Elite Cenas. That is enough. The problem is they keep having Cena in the BAF series which forces you to buy that figure even if you really weren't interested. The only good thing about the Cena from the Heyman BAF is that it comes with the belt.

buy all the elites since they usually come with different shirts and colors. still need them to make his yellow shirt so i can finish the rainbow. dont buy basics and he usually has 5 per look.

An average collector probably has more Cenas than an average casual kid. But there are way more kids than collectors. If it was just collectors buying Cena figures, they'd only release one basic and one elite per look. But every time they rerelease the same Cena doll in a new single or two-pack, for every collector who is like "Grrr I already have that one/I hate Cena" there are thousands of kids walking into stores looking for their first ever John Cena doll.

I got a red MitB briefcase and a ladder and the accessory was a Cena with his hat and tags... That's one Cena in my collection and for me, maybe one too many. Hopefully this was the last time I have to get a fig just for the other stuff included.

So just think about that. love him or hate him - Cena is this gen's Hogan (a WEAKER version lol but THE MAN none the less). He's carried the company for nearly 10 YEARS ON HIS BACK. To all the cena haters - grow up and give the man his dues. Even superhero movies AREN'T for kids anymore - and Cena is a superhero type wrestler. Much like had in the 80's. He's for kids. The one's whose parents buy the most merch for AND Cena sells the most merch since Stone Cold.) I will buy and updated cena every now and then - not different colored shirt to shirt lol... I didn't buy orange cena or purple cena but got fruity pebbles cena and din't buy green cena or 'rise above hate' cena or all the shirtless cena's in between though...  Personally I love the K-mart exclusive Cena's hands. I swapped them on my fruity pebbles cena cuz I didn't like the dark blue jeans he came with...BUT on a side note, does anyone know how to remove/swap JUST the HANDS on a figure EASILY? Thanks. |

I can see where you are coming from there but I still think that it is the kids that are buying these up. Think of how big the wwe footprint is globally and then there are kids that weren't watching wrestling when the first Cena versions came also though, what kid do you know that doesn't want to have the latest most up to date anything

I think collectors are more likely to have more than one Cena. I don't think kids care too much about having the latest attire since figures are never up to date with the television product.
