i know im not the first or only but hear me out first.
-my idea for this is not to do a series like this right off the bat b/c it might be too much too quick.
-have a team that mattel and everybody will buy or vote on as the "pilot" of this idea to see how it goes
- instead of making stupid exclusives like "hardcore Kane" or "the short hair HHH" make an exclusive 2-pack like how the Rockers were
- do a poll of classic and/or current teams
ideas for the Tag Teams please dont hate these all just popped in my head in this order and i didnt wanna drag on past 10 but I know you guyys have more ideas
1. Red L.O.D. ( i know you people want that one )
2. Hart Foundation
3. the Rockers ( in a more rockerish outfits)
4. Nasty Boys
5. Money Inc.
6. HARLEM HEAT
7. Kronik
8. Beverly Brothers
9. Steiner Brothers
10. APA ( minstry or APA version)
other exclusive 2-pack ideas more of the manager with a superstar he or she has managed
1. Heenan w/ any member of the family ( big john stud, andre, rude, haku etc...)
2. Jimmy Hart w/ earthquake
3. master Fuji w/ yoko
4. Sherri w/ HBK
you get the picture by now right?

not battle pack.. i hate the basic figures, im a crush fan so thats why that one popped in there. those two figures HHH and Kane are cool no doubt but they didnt need to take an exclusive spot is what im saying

I would literally buy every single set there except Kronik. Those ideas are great and I would love all of those teams. But Mattel is stuck doing the same 10 repaints over and over.
Short haired Triple H and Hardcore Kane were horrible figures and not worthy of exclusives. Im glad I wasnt the only one who thought so.

i konw apparently i am the only guy who likes Crush, and honestly was darwing a blank with WCW teams.. how about if i replace Kronik with Chavo and uncle eddy or Hollywood blondes
maybe freebirds or Midnight express..

What I'd do, is have every set like this:
One classic flashback tag team or family pack (One FB and 1 Current wrestler who are related)
One Manager/Wrestler (Current or Flashback)
One Current tag team or 2 Current feuding wrestlers
Series 1:
LOD in red should pads
Paul Heyman/Curtis Axel
Goldust/Cody Rhodes
Series 2:
Nattie/Jim the Anvil Neidhart
Heenan/Andre the Giant
The Usos
Series 3:
Harlem Heat
Mr Fuji/Crush
Los Matadores
Series 4:
The Steiner Brothers

Mattel won't risk trying something that already failed just to 'see how it goes'. Legends failed and Legends two packs failed. Flashbacks are where its at and where its going to stay.

Flashbacks are where its at and where its going to stay. i think the reason why it fail is because they were putting out crappy unwanted legends, and the ones we did like they gave them crappy attires you cant tell me Bushwackers, Nikoli, cowboy bob, Iron Sheik, Kamala, Bundy, duggan and that botched Snuka were figures anyone wanted right out of the gate another thing was the figure legends poll.. NOBODY voted for BUNDY we all know this , why did they make him? im not saying start up another series im saying "try a 2-pack in exclusive form " and see the sales on it.. but also make it something everyone freaking wanted, stay true to the poll like with this new Lex Lugar Poll USA Lex is ahead by a land slide, then Narrsissist, horsemen, NWO red .... i bet they give us the NWO wolf pack Lugar because its easiest for them |
