It bugs the piss out of me that it's edited on the Royal Rumble anthology and most recently WWE 13.
IMO it's an iconic theme and the edits are a buzzkill!!

Not really sure who owns that one, but it bugs me too because it's awesome wrestling music. I never realized how many classic themes were actually production tunes not owned by the WWE.
It's impossible to watch Spike TV for half an hour without hearing Hardcore Holly's old music. I dare you to try.

Everyone remembers that Triple H and Shawn Michaels main evented WrestleMania XX with Steven Richards.
Anyhow, I don't know why the old Cactus Jack theme can't be used. I've heard that they've used the song in some "adult" videos.

It's called "Whole Lotta Groove" by some artist called O. Maunick. I always get confused when that title comes up my iTunes library. Groove is the last thing that pops into my mind when talking about Cactus Jack.

seeing as its not a Johnson produced theme I guess they lost the rights to it. And I too heard it was in a porno. I was also pissed when they used some weird theme for him in WWE13

One day I will find this relic. My expectations are pretty high at this point so anything less than a post-bang toothpick to the girl's face will leave me greatly disappointed. |
