As part of the agreement with Universal Studios, TNA is not allowed to charge entrance to events held at the Impact! Zone. This has led TNA to look for alternative venues to host some of their monthly pay-per-view events.
Always telling me, "look how inferior they are, they let their fans in for FREE!" Because its against the rules of Universal Studios. Nothing costs anything except admission to get in Universal Studios entirely I believe (never been to Florida so I'm guessing).

And yet Mike Tenay and Don West still say the IMPACT ZONE is sold out . Idiots. So what, what is the big deal? TNA is apparently planning 8 out of town PPV's and 96 house shows next year. I don't think they will get that many. And if they do, the attendances will be terrible. In less than a year at their second show in the ECW arena, they drew half the amount of fans they did for the TNA-UWF show, Hardcore War.

About the Mike Tenay/Don West comment it's actually alot of the times Don West who got in "trouble" for it awhile back & has started saying a "standing room only".

You know they don't have to run at Universal... They could go back to Nashville and run their shows there... Run in the Assylum. All their PPV's outside of Florida have had crapfor attendance. And yet people proclaim them to be the number 2 promotion, some even laughingly refer to them as competition. The thing is, they are not competition for this very reason stated here. Because they run in Universal and can't charge money for their tickets. No ticket prices = no income for iMPACT other than from Merchandising which I doubt is a whole lot less they charge an arm and a leg for a Christian Cage T-Shirt... The only income TNA gets is PPV gate when they run outside of Florida, Merchandise and Advertising/Sponsors...

I think that's pretty damn good. And if you haven't noticed, TNA is only the number 2 promotion by default. What else is there? WCW did just fine when Nitro was broadcast from Universal Studios every week, why is it so stupid now that TNA is doing it?

Um, no chance in hell TNA got 10,000 for Lockdown. Don't make me laugh.
Try like half that amount.
They only got around 4,000 people for Slammiversary. And that was where fans were begging them to come back there for years.

Well over 10,000 fans for Lockdown? considering the arena can only hold 9,000 plus a handful of floor seats... And considering how much of a flop all the other PPV's outside of Florida were... I doubt that there were 10,000 fans in attendance for Lockdown...
