I've been dying for a Mountie fig. Would absolutely buy the crap out of one. But I'd just go gloveless as well. No need to spend money on different hands when there's so many accessories he would need. I could seem them making one without the coat, like the Hasbro, but come with the hat, glasses, and shockstick.
No offense, but I can't believe you're 25 and never heard of him. I thought you were gonna say you were 14. My brother is 24 and we love the Mountie.

I imagine it would look somewhat similar to this: ![](http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s569/Frank_Boris/mountie_zpsb692dd2b.jpg) I always thought the gimmick was pretty dumb, but Jacques Rougeau played it pretty well.... I loved the match at Royal Rumble '92 when Piper won the Intercontinental title from him.

I'd buy it just because he was a natural rival for Big Boss Man, but honestly I'd rather have Nailz. I don't think either one is very likely, though. If Mattel did do him, he would either look like the Jakks version above or would come with a rubber jacket. But I just don't see them spending the necessary tooling budget on a gimmick like this.

Loved the Mountie but I'm not sure what I'd want more the Mountie or the Fabulous Rougeu (could never spell it) Brothers.

The Mountie reminds me why I stopped watching wrestling when I was a kid in the 80s. All the gimmick characters were a huge turn off after i grew out of the Hulk Hogan stage. Thank the maker for the attitude era.

The Mountie was one of my favorites as a kid. I'd love to see a Mattel figure of him with entrance attire. My Jakks figure just isn't cutting it anymore! With that said, I'll be amazed if they ever make him; I just can't see it happening, sadly.

As many actual legends are needed to be made if hope to god they wouldn't throw out a Mountie before guys like flair, steiners, hogans, stings

Thank the maker for the attitude era. Absolutely, because gimmmicks have no place in professional wrestling. Wrestling is serious! We all settle our differences inside wrestling rings, steel cages, Eliminations Chambers, Hell in a Cell & lumberjack matches. All the while our "managers" are slipping us foreign objects to knock our opponents silly. I say no to The Mountie, because pro wrestling is no place for gimmicks!

They never will so you needn't concern yourself with such a thing.

I wish they would make him, though I'd kind of prefer Rougeau Brothers or even Quebeccers to The Mountie. And I'm aware there isn't much difference to the latter. Really, they could make him as the Mountie and then make a Pierre figure and it would still work ![:P](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/tongue.gif)

I'm confused as to why people don't think mattel would ever make him. maybe not right now, but I think eventually they will get to him, much like a lot of the other obscure guys. I don't think guys like Rikishi or hillbilly Jim were more popular than the mountie (well, maybe) but still. Flashbacks are doing really well, and I'd imagine that they want to keep them going for years to come.
Personally, id love a mountie to go with my boss man. i think it's possible

Probably hat, cattle prod, and glasses as accessories. Everything else would be molded.

I can see Mattel doing hat, glasses, and his shock stick. Easy, necessary accessories that would keep costs down.
Jacket would be nice but imo, unless they did it a cloth, I say pass
