Finally found Triple H today at TRU....... the final major piece to my WrestleMania 29 display. For some reason, I thought the Big Book deals started today..... I bought several (more than $30) worth of WWE stuff for my son for Christmas thinking I'd get this for free.... not realizing the Big Book sale starts Sunday. The cashier told me I could just come in on Sunday & get credit for the free Triple H, since I have 7 days from the start of a sale to get the price - does that sound right to anyone? I'm going to feel like a fool if I go in on Sunday and they tell me I can't get credit... If nothing else, I used the %20 off coupon from the website, so that helped.... At any rate, I'm still missing two Build-A-Bookers (Rock & Sheamus) so I may pick them up Sunday to get another Triple H - it really pained me to open this one up, the packaging is so awesome! I just might need another packaged Triple H for display.... But I needed him loose to complete my WrestleMania 29 display. I attended this event and wanted to commemorate it. Here are the pics! Awesome Display. I find it funny how Triple H didn't even wear that shirt at Wrestlemania 29. He didn't wore a shirt at all.

Yea, I'm probably going to take off the shirt (and display him "topless").... but it's such a nice shirt, I wanted to keep it on him for now. Here's a photo I took at WrestleMania 29 of Triple H entering.... when the equipment malfunctioned... It is a nice shirt I would just leave it on him. And nice photo  I remember watching Wrestlemania and was wondering with the heck was the white stuff on him. Sucks to hear he got burned from it though. |

I have always loved this display man! It is superb. I am very impressed by the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. They are nice and unique touches that make this one of my favorite displays I've seen yet.

And yeah if you take your receipts in tomorrow they will make the adjustments and get you a free HHH. That's one thing TRU is good about.

My plan is to get the $17.99 credit - put it towards the two BOPPV Basics I'm missing (The Rock, Sheamus), and maybe one other item for my son for Christmas - should put me back at $30 to get another Triple H for free, which I can then keep MOC for display.... They had gobs of them on Friday, I hope they still have a good supply on Sunday.... |
