I don't understand why so many people constantly say the Divas Matches Are piss break matches yet they don't even See the match to even judge it.Last Week We got some great Divas Matches I know the divas matches can be Bad sometimes but they can give you a nice Match.
I said this in another thread when someone said the attitude era divas are much better than the current Divas but back then we barely had any diva matches and the divas matches we had half of them weren't even wearing proper ring attires and would wear high heels(Debra,Terri and The Kat) and women like Debra,Kat were women's champion I'm not saying all the matches were bad but I feel like the divas now show more wrestling then what the divas had back then.Maybe the reason why half of you like the attitude era divas was more of a T&A thing which I did like too ex Bikini contest,Bra and Panties matches etc.

It's probably because the divas have developed a reputation for being chemically enhanced, no talent, waste of roster space.
But...the divas division has gotten better as of late.

Because the quality of the matches are just so bad. I got no reason at all to watch the Divas matches. Bra & Panties gave a damn good reason to watch though.

Yeah, I don't understand this either. So you would all bare to watch a Great Khali match then any of the Divas Matches? Really his matches are the true piss breaks.

This week we had great divas matches? Are you high? They were awful. I've actually been takjng my piss breaks during rod Zapata ref'd matches so I've seen a lot more divas action lately than I should. And let me tell you. Those Bella's are just plain BAD. Awful. I bet if AJ and Natalya or Tamina would put on a clinic if they got a solid 12 minutes. But instead we see the Bella bitches. Again and again.

I was never a big fan of Diva wrestling, but I do kinds miss the days of the early-to-mid 2000s. Lita, Trish, Victoria, Molly Holly etc actually had something to their characters. Although I do like AJ, Kaitlyn and Natalya these days. |

The last women's matches that I cared for were featuring Alundra Blaze. Everything since appears to be painfully scripted and incredibly forced.

Because who wants to see talentless women wrestle? I also don't wanna see talentless dudes wrestle so Khali matches are my coffee break. The quality of women wrestling in the attitude wasn't better, but it was so much more entertaining. I mean how can you best swimsuit contests? The best women wrestling we got was from Lita, Molly Holly, Ivory, Victoria, Mickie James, Jacquline, hell, even Jazz. Notice I don't mention Trish because aside from being the poster diva for the WWE I don't think she was that great of a wrestler.

I agree that it's a misconception that 'Divas' Wrestling in the Attitude Era was better, when really it was just Sable and Jacky, and The Kat in a Bra and Panties Match.
When I think of 'The Attidue Era's awesome Wrestling' I picture Lita, Trish, Ivory, Chyna. That's about it. Maybe Molly Holly I suppose. I think the woman's matches were better in the Ruthless Aggression Period. What with Tara and Molly Holly even getting a decent lengthed gimmick match at WrestleMania 20.

Because even if WWE had the best women wrestlers in the world, right now they are given 7 min for a match, including entrance(s).
Finley argued for more time for them when he was in charge.

If you starting reason for a divas match being good is "there weren't any botches", then divas match expectations are pretty low. 1 DECENT match out of a 100 horrible matches doesn't make the decent one good.

If a match is bad then a match is bad no matter what gender. I'm just saying all the matches this week were good. I don't see how they were awful but like RybackV1 I'm just giving my own opinion. |
