PWMalware posted an article using photos from this thread today. If it weren't for adults liking kids toys, this forum wouldn't exist. Any of us on here who are over 18 are here because we like kids toys. Elites are MEANT for collectors. I.E. an adult genre. These rumblers etc. are meant for 6 year olds. If thinking that elites are just for big grown-up boys helps you sleep better at night, that's cool.

Yeah...I know a lot of little kids bug me if they could ever get their hands on a Big Boss Man or Papa Shango figure.

Well this is going to be pretty bad..... but... This is an extra line of income/merchandising for the wrestlers, so we shouldn't be so harsh - any additional exposure/merch sales for them is a good thing, I think.... And you know what? I bet my five-year-old will love this.... So consider me in the minority and I'll say I'm "on board"..... any growth of wrestling is growth for us, I think... and I may just buy the CM Punk Ice Cream Man for my CM Punk collection..... The thing I don't get - it says they're all "banished from wrestling" so they have to find "regular" jobs.... well what's the point of having a show about Wrestlers that don't wrestle? Why do they always have to make things weird?

I'm guessing 'The Finisher' is the mystery masked man?! Seems to be. Here's the description for a book on Amazon...

Is it too soon to asked for Slam City Flashbacks? We'll probably get "Motivational coach Ultimate Warrior", " Macho King Randy Savage" because it's both a vocation & historically accurate, Ric Flair as a bartender, Undertaker & Paul Bearer will run "Slam City Funeral Home & Cremetorium.", Big Bossman will be chief of the police station(Que the NAILZ cameo), Andre will own the local winery, Hawk & Animal will be the interstate repair crew, Rick Rude will run a male strip club, Ted Dibiase will be the corporate millionaire whose in bed with Mr. Finisher, Roddy Piper/Bob Orton will own a series of storage units that they go into at night & pawn off their clients' possessions on eBay, & Virgil will be charging 20$ to take a picture with him down at the subway.

Sadly, I think this is the end of the Rumblers line. I really don't see Mattel continuing with two different lines of 2" figures.

And if WWE never made kid's toys, would any of us collect today? Seriously. How many people that collect today started collecting with the Elite line or Jakks Classic Superstars? I would say almost all of us started as kids. I had LJN figures, which were big chunks of rubber, not exactly geared towards collectors. Same with Hasbro figures, which are some of the most kid oriented figures that WWE ever had produced, but they're highly collectible today. If Mattel only made products geared towards collectors, then the whole Mattel line would probably not even exist, which some of their lines like Legends, Defining Moments, and Entrance Greats have proved to be true. But, talking to hobgoblin and others on here is like talking to a brick wall, so I'll just leave it at that.

Not liking that both Punk and Miz are kicking posed. The Barrett looks good, but where is the face of the WWE?!

My very first wrestling figure was actually a JAKKS Ted Dibiase, but it was more or less an accident since I'd only seen four or five matches of his on YouTube that same day.
