WWF Tag Team Champions The Nasty Boys vs LOD - SummerSlam 91 I listed that too.I never tire of seeing the greatest team ever in Hawk & Animal toss these 2 genuine pieces of crap around in front of a hot MSG.

Harts vs. Demolition Summerslam 88. I liked that one too, but I prefer Hart Foundation vs. Demolition from SummerSlam 90 better. I know it wasn't technically Ax and Smash in that match, but I thought the 2 out of 3 falls and having Ax interfere and the LOD getting involved just added a lot of hype and drama to that match. And when Anvil slung shot himself into Crush and Bret rolled him up for the final fall was just really exciting.

Neidhart's slingshot shoulder block over the top rope to the outside is one of the best spots ever, it's such a shame that Ax wouldn't take it.. And the crowd was so hot for the Harts (and especially Neidhart) that night, they wanted them to win so bad. That being said, I always preferred Crush/Smash to Ax/Smash (as I hate Eadie) and obviously the Harts winning the titles was awesome.

Why do you hate him? I always felt he was the best member and what made the team.

Why do you hate him? I always felt he was the best member and what made the team. I've always found his work boring, and his execution of moves is really annoying. Plus when I found out that he wouldn't take the slingshot press from Neidhart at SS 88 that was the final nail in the coffin.

Bill Eadie was excellent as Ax.Demolition will always be Ax & Smash.Crush added nothing to the team IMO.Fans didn't buy him as a genuine replacement for Ax either.
I LOVE both Demolition vs HF matches.....they meshed GREAT in the ring.bret Hart(to my knowledge)has always praised both members of Demolition.
where did it come up about Eadie not wanting to take Anvils move?sounds completely out of character from what I have heard of him.

I can't remember exactly where it was said, I think it could have been in Neidhart's RF shoot. I like Ax in the context of Demolition, but hate him as a wrestler if that makes any sense. I can always understand why people would prefer his incarnation of Demolition to the Crush one, but I quite like Crush and preferred heel Demo so I really enjoy Crush/Smash team.

HMM ok.
its just it conflicts heavily with everything said about him by
Bret Powers Of Pain The Road Warriors Barry Darsow Arn Anderson Jesse Ventura Marty Janetty Jim Duggan One Man Gang
who all praised him and his ability and willingness to make people look good.he was also praised over the way he handled himself when Andre threw one of his infamous tantrums & forced his(sweat soaked) strap into his mouth which rubbed off facepaint on the way in and made Eadie violently vomit ringside.he was said to have been very ill nearly fainted and still finished the match with a great attitude.
