Only pic i've seen of it so far  SD Dark match - John Cena def. Alberto Del Rio via pinfall to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. WWE legend William Regal served as the special guest referee for this match. Regal got on the microphone and put over Cena, only to attack him afterwards. Cena turned the tables on Regal, however, and nailed him with his Attitude Adjustment finishing move. Cena followed that up by hitting an Attitude Adjustment on ring announcer Tony Chimel as well. After the smoke cleared, Regal got up and walked out to a standing ovation from the fans in Manchester. |

I can't tell from the photo, but I wonder if the roof is still intact. I would imagine the fans would of blown right through it with the pop I'll bet this got.

I can't tell from the photo, but I wonder if the roof is still intact. I would imagine the fans would of blown right through it with the pop I'll bet this got. Just from the looks of the fans in the stands, looks like there was no reaction at all...hope that's not true |

I hope they make something of it and give Regal a well deserved run with the title. Oh, brother  ! I'm not denying his in-ring abilities and I think he has a great on screen presence. That said, he's on the wrong side of 45, has never been a draw or a big merchandise seller, and has had far too many drug suspensions as well as run-ins with the law to ever consider putting a major title of any kind on him especially in this PG era we are in. I'm sure he's doing just fine in his current role with WWE. |

Awesome to see them give Regal props enough to let him do that to Cena after the show.
His closest chance to a run with the belt was the time period that he was King of the Ring and General Manager of Raw. Had he not gotten the drug suspension for some kind steroid, then he probably would have had a good couple of ppv matches with Cena.

loved it!!! until the superman john cena had to do his shitty AA and then take the piss by waving, send the fans home happy let regal stand tall after knocking cena out they should of had regal throw his out the ring.

This is the crap that pisses me off about Cena and its laughable watching it from a fans perspective. He got punched in the face and knocked out, he lays down for 2 seconds, gets up and hits that weak AA and regal is legit out cold. Then he is smiling like nothing ever happened to him.
