I've been a collector ever since LJN and Remco started making the WWF and AWA lines back in the 80's. I love collecting wrestling figures and thought it would be cool to see a brief visual history of a WWE wrestler who has been produced by every major toy manufacturer who has held the WWE license over the years. Now, by no means is this meant to show EVERY single Hitman figure ever made. Instead, it's a quick snapshot of how the figures have evolved down to what we have with Mattel today. I take no credit for any of the images as they were all found around the web. The evolution of the figures captures his first LJN figure, moving onto to the Hasbro years, then his first Jakks figure (boy did they improve from there), Jakks Classic Superstars, to his Jakks Deluxe Aggression figure, onto his basic Mattel, and finally his two Elite Mattels. In my opinion, it shows Mattel has done an amazing job bringing us great figures (in scale) with great accessories. Curious how many WWE Wrestlers have been made in each line since LJN? Hitman, Warrior, Hacksaw, and Demolition Ax. Any others?

Awesome man. I would include a Jakks CS Hitman in there as well, as it's sort of the "basic version" of the Jakks line where the DA is the "elite version."

You should include his WCW Toybiz figure as well. Either the "hitman" Bret Hart, or Ring Fighters Bret Hart that came with a piece of ring.

Very cool. Awesome to see how far we've come, and how good we have it now. Despite our nit-picking, mattel is doing a hell of a job.

I'm pretty sure Big Bossman has been in every line since LJN except for the DA Classic Deluxe figures.

Crazy how Jakks DA is the obvious worst one. Even though it is generations later than most.

I guess people after this wont be like:"When Jakks was making the WWE it was way better than Mattel!"

I know we're discussing the actual toy companies, but Raven and Mick Foley are the only wrestlers to have figures made by WWE, WCW, ECW and TNA.

Andre The Giant has been made in every toy company (expect toy biz) as well. The only one missing for style is a DA, Andre never got a DA figure.

There was an ECW mick foley? And a WCW Mick Foley? When? Prove it! One can argue the CS19 Cactus Jack with a cactus plant logo on the legs was both WCW & ECW seeing he wore that attire in both WCW and ECW and I don't remember him wearing it in the WWE.
