Raw and Smackdown present Saturday Night's Main Event. Once a month, the big feuds from Raw and Smackdown will culminate not on PPV but on Saturday Night's Main Event.




Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis wanted to thank these two for helping him out (he put them in matches against Eve Torres to test her). The vacant United States title will find a new home.

Money In The Bank is a WWF hallmark. However, it is done differently here. Money In The Bank is a title not a briefcase and the title is always up for grabs. Not once a year but every time it is cashed in, a new MITB will be crowned. Since the grand reboot, the title is vacant and since there are two shows each will have their own.

After the reboot, the new owner of the WWF, Vince McMahon, made previous people in power apologize to the fans for their actions. Former owner HHH refused. Vince has punished him severely including making him have 8 singles matches in one night. One of HHH's accomplices during his reign was the Big Show. Since the relaunch, Big Show has begged for forgiveness. He even attacked HHH to prove he was sorry. HHH didn't take kindly to that and attacked Show during the Smackdown World Championship Tournament. Show had voluntarily went to Smackdown to distance himself from HHH. Even after the attack Show didn't want to face HHH. It was only when the Raw and Smackdown GM's (John Laurinaitis and Mick Foley) came together to put on this show that they forced Show into this match.

While putting together SNME, the two GMs also decided to have a Raw vs Smackdown six man tag match. Nothing is on the line but brand superiority.

Because of the reboot, the Intercontinental Championship is also vacant. Mick Foley announced the title would be brought back and he would find two great competitors to fight for the title. He didn't have to look far because a storm was brewing between two men and Foley has added the IC title as a prize for the winner.

In Tyler Breeze's debut he used a superkick variation and a elbow drop. Shawn Michaels was upset with this. Breeze meant no disrespect especially since HBK didn't invent either move. That pissed Shawn off. He beat down Breeze until security stepped in.

The Raw World title match is a match between two friends. No ill will between the two. The Champion is just giving his friend a title shot.

Another test John Laurinaitis put Eve through was a match with Ryback. She didn't fare well. Ryback would not pin her, he just kept the match going. Cue John Morrison to put a stop to it. Ryback took Morrison out with a clothesline for his trouble. Melina begged and pleaded with Ryback to not hurt John any further. Ryback left the ring. The next week, Melina asked John why he was helping Eve. Was there something going on between them? No he said. He just couldn't watch Ryback continue to decimate her. Big Johnny made a tag match. Eve and John Morrison vs Ryback and a partner of his choosing. Ryback chose Melina. Ryback never tagged Melina in and made her watch as he took out Eve and Morrison. Melina eventually had enough and when Ryback was going to his Shell Shock on Morrison she hit him with a low blow. It sent him to his knees. Morrison and Eve were still down. Melina knew she couldn't do much more to hurt Ryback so she tried to get Morrison up to take advantage of the situation. Suddenly Beth Phoenix hit the ring and attacked Melina delivering a Glam Slam. Beth would give Eve and Morrison their own Glam Slams. Big Johnny announced a 3 on 2 handicap match.

The Main Event is for the Smackdown World Title.

Randy Orton and Wade Barrett were in the finals of the Smackdown World Title tournament. While the ref was down Edge made his return and speared Barrett. Randy picked Wade up and hit an RKO. Edge revived the ref and he made the 3 count. Wade demanded a match with Edge and Mick Foley gave it to him. Wade won by DQ after Orton hit Wade with the World title. Edge and Randy put the boots to Wade. Randy and Edge each grabbed a chair. Randy put his under Wade's face. Edge lifted his chair up when Batista ran down for the save. He chased off Randy and Edge then helped Wade up. Batista grabbed Wade and delivered a devastating spinebuster. Randy and Edge welcomed Batista into their group. On the next Smackdown Barrett demanded to fight all 3 men. Mick Foley would not let him. He said it would not be a fair fight. If Wade wanted to fight them he would need to find two partners. And he has.

The World Title is on the line. Whoever scores the winning pinfall will win (or retain) the title.
