Now I've heard conflicting reports. Did they job to Ascension as the "American Pittbulls" or the "American Bulldogs" ?
Either way much better than they're name before. Well not really. But the "American Bulldogs" name is great. A play off the old British Bulldogs. And the one guy has a very similar stature to Dynamite Kid. Let's not get carried away though guys. This was likely a test run to see their reaction. I'm shocked they got an intro.

Rob Feinstein, the original owner of Ring of Honor has revealed the details behind Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards’ unique relationship with WWE. In a Facebook post, Feinstein revealed that The Pitbulls are NOT signed to a WWE contract, but will be working in NXT at and the Performance Center. After a few months, WWE will give them a chance on Smackdown to see if they can get over. If they do, they’ll get signed. Feinstein wrote: “Here is the deal with them. I knew about this about a month ago but out of respect to all parties involved I felt it was not in my best interest to say anything….They have not been hired by the WWE. In fact Joey Matthews and Steven Regal had to push for them to get looked at because HHH does not want anymore “top Indy” guys and actually said he already has “so and so”, who I will not name and his stance was why would I need another two that are already like him when we already have a few of that kind of person.
“HHH feels that guys from ROH and PWG are hard to transform because they have their set ways and its harder for them to break them down and remold which I understand. So the deal with them is that they are not under contract. They reported to NXT this week and actually have a few other dates that they are still going to work for since they are prior bookings. They are also going to keep them as a tag team and after a few months I have been told they are going to Smackdown as a tag team to see if they get over….If they do get over they will get offered a contract.” Richards and Edwards are still scheduled to work for Ring of Honor’s Final Battle event on December 14th, where they are rumored to be facing Roderick Strong and Jay Lethal. - Mr. Wrestling HHH sounds a douche

WWE style matches are completely different than Indy style. And it can be really hard to tone yourself down for WWE. Guys like Cesaro and Ambrose have done it well. Rollins is still somewhat struggling (mainly his death defying sells) but yeah I'm not saying the Bulldogs/Pitbulls won't be able to. I'm just saying I totally see where HHH is coming from. Did I not say this just yesterday " they do not need anymore of these Indy darlings because they have too many as it is. "

Eric Philbin might be the worst wrestling name I've ever heard.
Of course, why would WWE want guys with actual experience when they can just bring in big goofballs like Daniel Rodimer, Bobby Lashley, and Ryback?
I hope these guys get cheered through the roof just to prove these asshats wrong

CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Antonio Cesaro, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville...
... with possibly The American Pitbulls, Solomon Crowe and Kalisto? 2014 and 2015 could be some big years for the WWE!
Just wish Ohno was still around.

I'm excited, just saw these guys wrestle again last week and both of their matches were the best of the night.

I was thinking, if they do get called up as the American Pitbulls/Bulldogs (Bulldogs, BTW, sounds much better), that there would be an issue with 2 teams having "American" in them.
Then it hit me.
Why not just pair them with Zeb? They can either be additions to Antonio/Swagger or they could replace them. Davey/Eddie can cut decent promos, but neither is known for their mic work, so give them a manager that can fill that void and let them do their thing in the ring.
