YAWN. No big loss or change in my eyes. Is he trying to be like Austin Aries or Christian with the scarfs and big glasses on. Either way maybe this could help....maybe

Am I the only one who saw "Adam Rose" and immediately assumed Adam Cole was the newest surprise signing?

BrIaNMeRcY Good thing, its not a promo! Perhaps you should listen to the clip before commenting on it, because he clearly states he is talking from the soul instead of cutting a promo. This is a NXT presentation skills video, its where the talent of WWEs developmental system get to pith ideas and practice segments/interviews/promos infront of their fellow wrestlers and the higher ups in WWE. He instead chose to voice his anger to the higher ups judging them. I can only assume its a work with some real feelings in there, but none the less a cool way to pitch yourself to the higher ups. And if you think that was "one of the worse promos you have seen" then you need to re-evaluate your opinions on talkers. It was fine, he spoke with clear conviction and did not second guess himself for a second, not a single stutter. He said what he thought and what he was going to do about it. You could feel the anger and frustration in his voice, but he chose to keep calm and civilised. Left us with a clear warning that "This Puppet is cutting his strings, and you only have yourselves to blame for it". Clearly leaving a message something bad will happen in the future at his hands. He even ends it with a creepy "Ta Ta". Considering this was done for something not intended to go out to the masses or even make it onto TV, I thought it was fine. However, this could be the reason for the gimmick change. Who knows? He might have truly been frustrated with his current position and WWE gave him something new. We will have to wait and see.

I did watch Leo Kruger's promo Andeh before I made my post. I will not do a re-evaluation because there isn't a need for me to do so. If Leo Kruger/Adam Rose is frustrated with his spot, he can only blame himself. He age will have to do something with the way upper management perceives him as. He will be 35 next July. These days, the WWE is looking for guys ranging from age 25 to age 31/32. The business relies on guy who have longevity. Something that isn't on Leo Kruger/Adam Rose's side. I have been actively following NXT every week for the last six months. There is a reason why NXT exists. Its obvious that NXT is not only there to develop talent to compete in the WWE style but also experiment with various personas/gimmicks. Tyler Breeze and Adien English's gimmicks come to mind. Will they get over on the main roster? Only time can tell. After seeing his stuff, Kruger/Rose doesn't wow me. If there is one guy who is beginning to wow me is Bo Dallas. A guy who is easy to hate takes the cake for me.

After rewatching that clip. I started to think. His old character is a bit over the top and cartoony. I don't think that character as it was could be a world champion. He would be brought up pushed for a bit. Lose to John Cena. Then become a comedy guy. Gimmicky characters flop. That's why when HHH dropped the cartoony Mr. Hemsley and became Triple H the brute mean self entitled assassin, he got somewhere.
I think if his character is a vicious, self entitled, pretty boy who is brought up with Justin Gabriel. Then actually used he could be something. Eventually have him beat down Gabriel in a vicious way, then win a mid card title and they feud it could get them both over. Then have Gabriel win the feud and Kruger could win the MITB when after sitting ringside grabs a ladder and clears house and then climbs and wins it. He could take Gabriel's spot reigniting the feud when it's revealed it was him who beat down Gabriel early in the night. Have Gabriel sell until the next ppv and come out during Kruger's match and try and cost him the victory in defending his mid card title. Only to backfire, and get knocked down again and Kruger wins because of him. Have Gabriel challenge Kruger for the midcard title the next night just to have Heyman say Gabriel's not cleared and Kruger is out celebrating. Gabriel can ask what do you have to do with this and I'll be cleared next week. Then Heyman says because the man behind you is my new client. Gabriel turns around and Kruger hits him with the briefcase. Grabs Gabriels mic and says Tata. Next week Kruger comes out for the match and they play Gabriel's music and the crowd goes nuts. Then no one comes out. Heyman says oh yeah Justin Gabriel is at home in South Africa recovering from his injuries. Heyman grabs a mic and saya if anyone in the back wants a title shot come out. Then the rock's music plays. The crowd goes nuts. It keeps playing until the crowd turns to boos. Then Heyman and kruger bust into laughter saying I can't believe you fell for it twice. Then have someone who is a former world champion or over with the crowd come out for the challenge and lose clean. Then have Kruger attack them after with the briefcase and Heyman pretends to be the referee and hands him the briefcase and grabs a mic saying Leo Kruger is cashing in the briefcase on [World Heavyweight champion] and Heyman makes the three count and grabs a mic and says [world heavyweight champion] this is your fate.

I like Leo, but if the WWE isnt going to bring him in to the main roster by next year then they should release him, the guy is 34, why give him false hope with this gimmick change? Thats cruel even for the WWE.

BrIaNMeRcY You can have a opinion on Kruger but the age thing is nonsense, Curtis Axel and Leo Kruger are the same age, yet Axel made his debut on TV this year. No reason for Kruger not to have the same. The video clearly says why he thinks he isn't on the roster, I would rate his thoughts more than your assumptions. I quite liked the Kruger gimmick, but if this new one gets him called up then more power to him.

The wrestling industry is all about longevity and how much $$$ you can put into the promoters wallet. If you want to talk about talents with longevity, look at John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H, The Undertaker, & The Rock. Just to name a few. All those names I mentioned debuted in their 20's. A more modern example is Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins. The WWE has those three at their disposal for the long-term. Leo Kruger/Adam Rose is a lost cause at this juncture. He is already 34 (as I pointed out in my prior post) years old. At this rate, just future endeavor him. BrIaNMeRcY You can have a opinion on Kruger but the age thing is nonsense, Curtis Axel and Leo Kruger are the same age, yet Axel made his debut on TV this year. I quite liked the Kruger gimmick, but if this new one gets him called up then more power to him. The main reason for Curtis Axel's presence on the main roster is based on his pedigree. If he wasn't a third generation guy, the WWE probably couldn't care less about him. After all, Leo Kruger has been in developmental for nearly four years already. He has been given a lot and I mean a lot of time to improve and be called up to the main roster. If he would have upped his game, we wouldn't be having this conversation. The fact he mentioned wrestling in front of 20,000 people is completely irrelevant to a casual fan. The casual fan cares about if they can relate to the guy and if can grab your attention. I rest my case.

You can point out that WWE invest in young guys all you want but it doesn't change the fact that they gave Axel a debut and IC title run at age 34. Del Rio made his debut at age 33, and just got out of a WHC run at age 36. I don't understand how you find this so hard to comprehend. The age point is irrelevant, as WWE themselves are contradicting it. I'm just gunna move on from this thread as its a little frustrating when people start hoping for talented dudes to lose their jobs instead of wishing them the best or perhaps not commenting at all.
Edit: The video was not for the "Casual fan" its a NXT presentation video meant for WWE staff. Its not for TV, it got leaked.

Hard to comprehend? Haha, funny...not. If Leo Kruger was as talented as you claim to be, then why isn't he on RAW & SmackDown every week? Ask yourself that question. Other than that, I'm sticking to my comments and have a wonderful day and week Andeh.

I assume it's because they need more babyfaces. Or are testing him as a babyface. Additionally, if Kruger came up, I can't help but think that his creepy hunter gimmick would clash with the Wyatt's creepy country cult gimmick. Always felt like they collided on NXT.

That is odd. Maybe they were just testing this. I wouldn't freak out until he debuts this look on NXT/WWE TV. I hope you're right It makes no sense to give this to Kruger when he already had one of the best gimmicks in the company, and played it to perfection. With all the guys they haven't packaged yet, why not just give it to one of them? He's a talented guy, so I hope things work out whatever happens with him.
