I originally didn't want them to continue without him, but I think they could end the character in similar fashion as Han. It would be a little creepy killing the character off in the same fashion of his real life death, but I don't see how else they could do it. Have Statham's character sabotage his car or something which would make things even more intense and personal.

It's so true. So many people die young and it's just a shame. Very unfortunate.

The idea I had thought of was to recast someone else to play O'Conner. Re-shoot the scenes that Walker has already done with the new actor. Then when you release the film there will be an all new actor as O'Conner but on the bluray extended cut version, use what footage they have of Walker. That way you still give a "tribute" to Walker showing his last film but you can also continue the franchise which they're going to do anyway.

Recasting would give the film and series a lot of backlash. I think the best plan is to use some of Walkers footage and then have a scene where Vin is on the phone with him telling him to take his sister and their kid away from all the sh** going on. Though they can't show it, the audience will image the O'Connor family left and had a regular life elsewhere. And they have Lucas Black back to take over the lead next to Vin.

Im a huge F&F fan but I just cant see Vin & Lucas Black as the lead characters. If that's the route they want to go I would hope they would end it at 7. Also by taking Brian & Mia out, we lose Mia which would be another main cast member. Leaving only Dom, Roman, Taj and Letty. I would much rather see a recast or introduction of a new character.
