Let me try to think.
Well Boba survived, originally he was going to survive, but there was timing conflicts from what I heard.
Darth Maul survived and his lower half was robotic.
Umm, I guess Jango, it's like, oh yeah we have a cool character whose son is probably one of the most iconic characters of the original series but he'll just die and we'll just leave Boba Fett to just hold his head and try to make us forget about him. Then again I feel Episode 2 was the weakest despite having some cool looking things and feeling a bit like Blade Runner to me for some reason at the start, unfortunately Hayden Christiansen killed the enjoyment to me.

Darth Maul should have lived till the third film. Then in the third film he could have been the one that killed Padmé. This causes Anakin to go bat poop crazy before killing Maul. His anger forces him to the dark side. Thus causing the end fight with Obi Wan.

I have always felt that Lucas didn't pay attention to the buzz when Mauls image was revealed....he went ahead and killed him anyway.
The Rule of Two restricted Lucas(needlessly)IMO.the Darth Plagueis book which is a MUST read for any fan tells you that Maul was trained a s a Sith Warrior & Assassin.....not a Sith Lord and that Plagueis knew of him and didn't really buy into the Rule of Two thing.
Had they kept Maul around it could've been great.but Kenobi still needed something big to fluff him up.and killing a Sith was that deal.
at least he brought him back in the toon....and we still dont know his fate.....it was left open ended.

In Episode IV when Vader was boarding the Tantive IV - the fourth rebel shouldn't have been killed, he had such a great story Plus he was 2 days away from retirement:( Also I agree that Darth Maul was killed off way too soon.

Jango 100%
I was so against his death that I created this story that he being the skilled killer he is, he had a clone take his place during the battle on Geonosis. You mean to tell me that he gets into this huge battle with Obi-Wan and then he just f***ing stands there while Mace comes running at him? Granted, his jet pack was damaged, but that didn't stop him when his jet pack flew off his back on Kamino.
I feel that it he has the potential to pay Zam to do his dirty work for him, then he's smart enough to send in a decoy into an potentially dangerous situation.
Jango should have either had more screen time or at least made it to the next movie.

Coon, I agree 100% about Jango. His death ruined Attack of the Clones for me. That and the whole Padme/Anakin love story that was going on.

yeah Tarkin is a good example....but for crowd satisfaction he had to go.Vader was gonna survive so one of these evil bastards had to eat a torpedo.
also Vader seemed to have slipped down the rankings by EP4.Tarkin was obviously the 2# guy in the Empire and Vader was taking orders from him.thats another reason he had to go so Vader could be the Emperors right hand man again.
