Seriously, people. I hope I'm wrong. Has there ever been a year that had so many tainted main events? Wishing I was a pro wrestling historian right now. Would love to know. In all my years of buying PPVS, I don't remember a year quite like this. I would rather have John Cena win clean every main event match than to have these shady endings! At least in the 80's Hulk Hogan won clean most of the time. '98-00 had some pretty screwy main events but for the most part they made sense to the great stories that were being told. Today the WWE pulls 180s on all of their stories because they don't like the internet community predicting them before they happen and would rather make stupid decisions that make little sense just so they did something surprising.

Anyone who paid for a PPV from Night of Champions to Survivor Series deserves a refund as far as I'm concerned. The Royal Rumble should have ended with Punk leaving with the title. Especially, since Cena won the Rumble. That whole event, in retrospect, was a precursor for the year. Mania had one good match... We saw PPV, after PPV, after PPV, of Alberto Del Rio in the WHC match, in silence. How is anyone arguing with this guy for feeling bad about pissing away his money. That's exactly what he did imo and at least he can admit it, and call WWE out. This year has been horrendous for PPVs. I mean JHC, a tag match was probably the best match of the PPV for at least half of the events this year. That's a damn joke. this year and burn it with fire. I hope 2014 gets back on track with at least a more entertaining and quality main event seen. I think one title will force the midcard angles to improve but I'm glad this year is coming to an end.

We've had a lot of great PPVS this year in my opinion. I'll go down and say mini descriptions about each: Royal Rumble- had 2 good matches Rock/Punk and Rumble Elimination Chamber- 2 good matches Shield vs Ryback/Sheamus/Cena and Rock vs Punk Mania- most matches were good. Extreme Rules- I have to admit was bad Payback- All the matches were ok to great. (Great PPV) Money in the Bank- A lot of good matches (I was there and Great PPV) SummerSlam- 3 good matches NOC- BAD Battleground- Cody and Goldust vs Shield Helll in a Cell- Idk lol SS- 6 on 6 Tradition Tag Match

Problem is the shows are way too expensive. Since Summerslam me and my buddy have been going to TGI Friday's for every PPV and getting drinks/half price appetizers. For $20 we eat and have an amazing time. And that's maybe 1/3 of the price watching at home. Crazy...

2013 being the worst year simply because of main events not being clean is faulty logic. Almost every PPV during the attitude era had some kind of screwy finish. This. I have however, had little enjoyment from most of the PPVs this year. I was at Mania so that was fun, Extreme Rules and Summerslam had a few good matches between them, and Jericho/Punk from Payback was nice, but everything else was meh for the most part. **EDIT** Honorable Mention for Rhodes/Goldust vs. Rollins/Reigns from Battleground too I guess.

I haven't ordered a PPV in like 2 years.
Plenty of better things to blow my money on.

Yup I stick to 2 ppvs mania & rumble execept for this summer slam which excuse my language they ed up the next night on raw! Then wwe had the audacity to blame daniel Bryan for poor ppv ratings when he's headlining but that fact is that the fans get tired of Dusty finishes r we sure he's still not booking? No ofense Marylyn manson dust!

Say whatever you want, but I'm almost certain the reason so many PPVs have meant nothing is because Hunter wants to be the focal point of every storyline without wrestling, so the main bits of stories actually happen on RAW and not the PPVs (except the PPVs where he's been the finish). His ego is a runaway train and its gotten stale fast.

There was exactly 1 decent WWE PPV this year.....Extreme Rules. Undercard was really good.

Agreed. tbh, the PPV's up to Summerslam were pretty damn good. Payback Elimination Chamber Rumble Summerslam Extreme Rules All good stuff.

I feel your pain. I liked some of the earlier ones..
Match wise I do have hope for TLC, story-wise I'm expecting to be disappointment. But there are at least four planned matches I'm hyped for. Sandow vs Big (I feel like this could go either way and they should match up in an interesting way). Both of the 3 vs 1's and Nattie vs AJ (really pulling for Nattie) *Shrug*

$ in the bank was the best ppv of the yr. Start streaming them. I'm surprised any1 can afford to buy them all lol. I was lucky during the AE I had that illegal box so I got to see them all. Those were the days.

Stop discussing illegal activity please. You will be warned and you should be warned.

I stopped buying PPVs after Summerslam. I could be doing something worth my time (and possibly money) instead of wasting it.

There were some solid shows this year, and Summerslam was absolutely fantastic, but this three month/four Pay-Per-View stretch from Night of Champions to Survivor Series is genuinely one of the worst string of events of I've seen in my time as a fan. Total garbage.

The less we Buy PPVs the lower their butyrate. If we give them alarming buyrates, maybe they'll make the shows better.
