i dont know if this has been discussed, i missed it if it was but i just bought the rsc kane...didnt really want it or the hardcore belt (which i hated in wwe when it was active). but i picked it up with brock and some other stuff during the sales and .....ohhhh man that hardcore title is awesome. it doesnt have plates to insert so it sits completely flush against the waist or over the shoulder. it looks terrific. i dont care if it can't be vac metalized i think all belts should be sculpted/molded like this. It does look good when its around someones waist, but since its all rubber the plates bend more and loose their shape if its over the shoulder or someones holding it. Id stick with plates

I agree. The NWA-TNA belt that came with Christian was similar, and that's a great belt for figures.

Sorry to put a dampener on it but im not a fan. Its pretty inaccurate and i remember a lot of people were dissappointed with it when we first seen the pics.
I bought the kane figure loose recently and saved a lot of money because the belt wasnt with it. It would have been better if the belt had the little pits of blue and red paint like the real one.

I can't wait to get mine, I remember all the negative feedback it was getting when it debut. I still wanted it regardless but it was pricey at first. Good thing I waited for the sale.
As for the lack of detail of the belt, let your creative side come out and fix it. It's not a lot to paint.

Didn't realize the belt was like that, actually pretty cool. But I'm glad they do most of the belts the other way cause I really love the VAC ones.

The belts that come the old Flexforce 2-packs are like that too, the WHC is the best cos it looks fine as a dull belt also. The way it curves around the waist looks much much better on display!

Meh, not a fan of the fig. So it's not really worth getting it for a belt IMO

This is why I hack off the nubs on the backs of the plate and glue them to leather straps. So much more realistic and sits so much better around the waists and whatnot.

Why Yes, yes it is.
Without a doubt one of the better belts.

This is why I hack off the nubs on the backs of the plate and glue them to leather straps. So much more realistic and sits so much better around the waists and whatnot. I've done this with some of my old Jakks belts, but only to the main plate. I tried once with the side plates and found that not only did you run into problems glueing them on with the huge hole in the belt where the nub went through, but also the sides of the belt curved too much when you placed the belt on a figure causing the side plates to eventually fall off. I agree that it makes the belt sit much tighter on the figure and look better. I like the idea of completely molded belts as I have one of the old ECW figures' TV champ belt and love the way it fits snugly around virtually any figure. Problem is that all the detail has to be painted on and you just can't get that shiny metal look that a vac belt has.
