In WWE's defense, that was a pretty interesting MNF game. That said, it would help if Daniel Bryan was more of an A+ player...

Bring the big colourful gimmicks back from the 80s. Kids love colourful characters. It isnt an 80s thing! Its just cartoon characters brought to life. No matter how good the wrestling is they are still boring to look at. If i was a kid i would totally be disheartened by todays WWE. Imagine the power rangers without colourful outfits, kids would stop watching. I was thinking about this the other day. Too many " wrestler" gimmicks. El Torito / Matadores are the only gimmick in WWE right now! Even attires all look like " wrestling" attires. No one really has entrance attire anymore. Nothing flashy. Damn I miss 80's/90's wrestling.

Sandow seems to have dropped his entrance robe and "You're Welcome" speeches. Now he seems to be more of a determened serious type. Goldust only uses his Gimmick in the ring, and with that, its rare. I miss the mid 90's over the top Goldust gimmick.

Also IMO WWE uses gimmicks to get them over and then when they get over they drop it. One recent gimmick I missing is Dashing/Grotesque Cody Rhodes. Imagine that Cody teaming with Goldust.

Wow, great idea. Hahaha I never thought of that. Hahaha I could hear them arguing of who's prettier! Then Goldust looking at himself in the mirror, rubbing his sides, and breathing at himself and walking off, and Cody saying " What a freak...." The. Doing the same in the same in the mirror! Hahaha

Damnit, Daniel Bryan, why can't you get the fans to want to watch Raw. But yeah, good job Randy, John. You guys are just a little further down people's throats, great job.

Maybe this will hit something in the Bosses brain and think, hang on, they must not like Cena and Orton for the 50th time. While I agree that is part of the problem, the fact that they have nothing interesting going (aside from one story) on is the bigger problem. That one story is the Punk/Bryan vs The Shield/Wyatt Family story and even that is being diminished by the upcoming PPV handicap matches. Unless they are plan on merge the two matches into one, I don't seeing it end well at all for any of those involved. And the fact that they are getting like 5 minutes total to talk on the show is just moronic. When you have two of the most over charismatic guys in your company working together, you would think they would be given a lot more time, but instead we continue to get 30 minutes of Cena, Orton, and the Authority going at each other in a very repetitive manner. And when I say that I don't just mean they are repeating the same thing nearly every week, but the they are constantly repeating things they said earlier in the same speech to the point where it is annoying. I just hope they are paying with us at this point as this has become a very uneventful lead up to Royal Rumble.

It seems the reason they are doing this is to make the Sandow character more aggressive. It just isn't resonating to well as they aren't giving him time to speak.

Im all in for an aggressive Sandow. He would, on paper be a true threat. Someone with aggression and book smarts. Thats dangerous. He knows when to pick his spots, and when to back down. Back to the topic. WWE writters just have no clue what to do. Look at the Sin Cara-Del Rio match. We have a former WHC, who just lost the title lose to someone who has literlay been in the bottom of the bucket for months. And Del Rio lost clean. What the ? I'm no Del Rio fan, or Cara fan, but unless you plan on shooting Sin Cara to the moon, why would you have a former WHC job to a jobber? Especially to someone that has held nothing as far as titles go in the WWE. I know in Mexico, Mistico is a big deal, but in WWE, he's on Hornswoggles playing feild. He's a joke with a huge wrestling move list. I'm all for him getting a push, but it shouldn't have been at the expense of Del Rio. He should be feed from the bottom up. Starting with jobbers to lower mid card. Now Del Rio looks weak, aswell as the WHC title itself. Then the contract signing. I hate that every one turns into a table flipping street fight. This would have been the time to enstate a " Don't touch one another until TLC, or you get stripped of your title!" This would add suspence to any backstage segment or in ring segment where these two may come face to face. Where you do want them to fight, but fid yourself saying don't do it, you'll lose your title. This also gives enoigh time for people ro actually want to see Orton hit Cena with an RKO or Cena to hit the AA on Orton. Which, with this stipulation, would make people get the PPV. But, we have already seen Orton get the AA. I'm sure next week we will see Cena get the RKO. But, that is over done for nearly every big match. Its also the fact that we all know Cena is walking as The Undisputed Champ. Their is a small part of me that sees HHH screwing Cena, but we will see. And finally, its the commentators that make my enjoyment of Raw or WWE as a whole very unwatchable. They don't call moves. Most of the time its pointless banter to build their own characters and voicing their own opinion when they should be biased. Or Cole talking about the App. We know what we are watching, we know its the WWE. He says WWE about 200 times a show. And pushes the App about 20-30 times a night. Its old. I think the old saying, 2 is a couple,3 is a crowd highly applies to the commentary. There needs to be 2. With 3 everything turns into a debate, and the match gets lost in all the chatter.. JBL was fun for awhile, but his singing and chanting along with RTruth and the crowd has to ing go. I miss the heel JBL. King, sorry man, your a legend, but that ship has sailed with JR. Send him down to Florida to train some up and coming announcers an interviewers. Cole. Cole. Give me Josh Mathews and Matt Striker. Josh Mathews and Joey Styles. Joey Styles and JBL. JBL and Josh Mathews.... Booker T and JBL. Something different.

No matter how good the wrestling is they are still boring to look at. If i was a kid i would totally be disheartened by todays WWE. I think there are a good number of gimmicks, but there should definitely be at least a half dozen more. And they should be used. Not necessarily full-on gimmicks, but there should be more character and personality to the midcard and lower-card roster. The idea in the thread about Cody and Goldust interacting backstage, that's what they should be doing. Not just having the same match with The Shield every week. Regal is great at backstage character bits, he should be popping up to do those. Uso B does his Samoan $$$$$ gimmick on Total Divas and he's pretty funny but it never seems to make it to Raw and Smackdown. Otunga's lawyer gimmick could be used a lot but he's been largely MIA for months apart from that one interview during the Big Show firing story. Santino, Sandow, Fandango, 3MB, JTG, hell, most of the guys have something that could be fun to feature in little backstage skits. The weird thing is that WWE actually does do this, but only on their Youtube shows like JBL & Cole. If they started translating the character-driven stuff onto the main shows, I think they'd start getting the lower card over. Del Rio could really do with just being moved down the card and doing some character stuff that makes him less dull, too. that's it continue to shove the feud nobody gives a crap about down our throat. And waste the only two guys the fans give a crap about. lol I love how much wrestling upsets you. It's sad that you spend so much time obsessing over something you hate, but it's funny too.

They deserve whatever hit in ratings they've taken in the last three months. Since September, the product has been, and continues to be, total garbage.

These are like 95/96 numbers.
You know. The point where they had to do a drastic overhaul in order to save the company's ass.

To me it seems like it's a huge mess backstage right now and therefore everyone is just getting lost in the shuffle. There's really no clear storylines outside of Cena, Orton, Bryan, Punk, Shield, and the Wyatts.

There's really no clear storylines outside of Cena, Orton, Bryan, Punk, Shield, and the Wyatts. They have six hours of programming on TV, and they barely use some of their roster, while other guys are on over and over again. I love the Shield, but they are always on! It's just to much. They are doing a terrible job with the midcard, Divas, tag division, etc. And the main event is just Cena vs Orton again. I hope the ratings keep on dropping, and somehow they change things for the better. But they could change things for the worse - new world champion Triple H, for example.

Are they seriously that blind? Get rid of the 100th Cena/Orton feud, push Bryan again, and stop the bad news! When I say that, I mean both Bad News Barrett, and the bad ratings.
