I'm really impressed with how Mattel pulled off the Shield's vests. If Mattel wants to move away from fabric shirts, I would be fine with shirts made like these vests. Of course that would mean colored shoulder joints for normal tshirts, but I would be OK with that for a special Elite tshirt series like Walmart's basic set.

No thank you. Elite figure should be fabric shirt. Not this rubber shit. I would rather deal with stains on a figure, that can be removed, than a rubber tshirt that has its logo scratched off.
Mattel, there aren't many figures in a wave that cone with shirt, so there's no reason for a fabric shirt not to be included. With that said, the WM30/WM14 elite HBK that is coming out next year needs to come with a fabric DX shirt. I will buy 4 just to have nice cloth shirts for HHH,HBK,Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn.

I like the shield vests, but hate rubber shirts. The good thing is they fixed the way they stay on which is good, but they still feel way too damn cheap. LOVE their fabric shirts and we need a hell of a lot more of em, ESPECIALLY DX ones.... But to each their own! If you like the rubber, you're likely to see a hell of a lot more of em which is great for you. I just personally don't like em

The Shield vests work, but the rubber shirts don't.

The trouble with the rubber shirts are the sleaves. If mattel colored the shoulder joints and tshirts were more like vests, they'd be more palatable.

sadly we all need to get used to these alien rubberplastic shirts....they started slow, like 1 per series, now in most elites there is less and less cloth because this country/world sucks and for some reason those kinds of goods have to cost more now than they did a few years ago

Cost of figures are going up all the time yet Mattel seem to be cutting any corner they can to save money. Do people wear rubber shirts in real life ?.. No, so why do figures get them?

Not sure what you are trying to achieve here. If the shoulder joints are painted, even with molded sleeves on the bicep, then the rubbber shirt/vest piece isn't really removable without leaving the figure looking ridiculous. At that point, I'd rather it's just all molded or painted on. I just don't see the appeal of that.

Omg please no molded t shirt series elites! I HATED when jakks started doing that w/ DAs. While I can understand doing it to basics once in a while to spice up the usual 25 kahki shorts Cenas w/blue armbands, let elite be elites w/cloth/rubber shirts.....I feel like they just don't look right on most guys, makes them all look like they tuck their shirts in, & aren't they all mostly the same mold, so torso size is the same for Ryder as Cena as Punk. While I do love the elite Shield I wish they designed the vests to be removed & Ambrose had a t shirt under, seth & roman are fine though....

NO. I'd rather they not come with shirts at all if they're going to be molded. It sucks that very few figures are being released with fabric shirts, but what can we do?

They'd be like those Jakks Undertaker figures I see at second-hand shops where the jacket or shirt has been ripped off and the guy has just black sleeves and a singlet.
