It's been in the works for a couple years now. I'm surprised it hadn't been "official" until a couple months ago. linkI have heard and I'm psyched! I don't think it has anything to do with that movie trilogy they had planned a few years back though. I am going to miss Tony Jay as Megabyte...but there's not much that can be done about that.

I always think it's strange how few of these lists actually have wrestling shows on them considering the forum we're on...
For me, it's probably something like:
Psych Monk Breaking Bad WWE/F Programming WCW Programming
WWE/F/WCW have to be on my list for the shear amount of hours and money I've put into those two brands. When I was younger, pro-wrestling was absolutely huge to me... so for an All-Time list, those shows are essential.
edit. - No particular order, by the way.

Don't think I could do anything other than list an all time 5 and a current 5. There's just a lot that I would have to cut out even with this.
Current/watched this year: 1. Breaking Bad 2. Game of Thrones 3. Homeland 4. Person Of Interest 5. Big Bang Theory
All Time: 1. Heroes 2. Friends 3. Father Ted 4. X Files 5. E.R

1. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia 2. The League 3. Workaholics 4. Family Guy (seasons 1-7.5) 5. Either Tosh.0 or Walking Dead but if I had to chose I would chose Tosh because TWD is so boring at times.

1) Seinfeld 2) Sopranos 3) Breaking Bad
To me, no other show has ever come close to these three. Constant, great stories over many years is a hard thing to do and these three shows are the only ones to me that never got dull once.

Constant, great stories over many years is a hard thing to do and these three shows are the only ones to me that never got dull once. Have you seen Buffy, Angel, Lost, X-Files, Californication, South Park or Futurama? I have (except Califonication), and again I feel that no show comes close to touching the three I mentioned. Lost was pure crap and I sat through the whole thing. Good idea but by season 2 the writing was all over the place and the once promising show seemed to be full of ideas from a 5 year old. Buffy, Angle, and the X-Files didn't have the stories or characters that stood out or were memorable like the three I listed. The shows I listed did things that hadn't been seen before on any other show. They were unique. Characters stood out. Buffy, Angle, and X-Files were solid show but nothing ground breaking like Seinfeld, Sopranos, and BB. SP and Futurama are great shows but have had their low points, SP especially. IMO both shows have multiple high points and lows points throughout their runs. For example, I felt the past few seasons of SP sucked. However the newest season that just ran had a string of great episodes. Off topic but if anyone is looking for a show to watch try OZ. Its an HBO show from the late 90s that follows the lives of fictional inmates inside a federal penetentary. A lot of actors from Law and Order: SVU were in it and it is definatly worth a look if you want something unique from other shows. It's one of my favorite shows.

I think Buffy, and Angel both have great characters and character development though. The writing and stories are really well thought out and top notch IMO. I really don't normally get emotionally involved in TV shows or films, but both Buffy and Angel have had me close to tears a couple of times. With the exception of Willow and Gunn, every character serves a purpose and is awesome in their own right. And to have 2 shows running simultaneously was pretty damn awesome, especially when they reference eachother and cross over. And yeah, Lost really did decline after Season 1.

In no order:
Smallville - Not the best show, but it kept me watching for 10 years, so yeah. Jericho - Short lived, but so awesome. Chuck - Only watched it recently on Netflix, but I've watched it all twice, couldn't stop, loved it. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Another show I've watched over and over. Dexter - An interesting concept executed so well.
Yeah, my favorite shows are all over. Kind of sad.

I enjoyed Buffy quite a bit. Like you I liked the characters and stories. I just felt that it wasn't ground breaking or anything. Still a great show. Didn't see a ton of Angel but eventually I'd like to catch up on it. I've never understood the love for LOST. The idea of the show was great but when they started introducing all the mystical crap it got bad fast. A show about plane survivors stuck on a deserted island with another group of unknown people sounds cool. Take the premise and add all the mystical crap (Jacob, Time Travel, physically moving the island, etc...), and the show fell flat fast for me. Season 1 was good, and the first half of season 2 wasn't bad (until we see that it was mostly a waste of time), and the rest was total crap to me. Terrible writing, bad acting, and a lack of answers makes it a bad show IMO.

Its hard to pick just 5, but id say these are probably my top 5 favorite TV shows ever, in no particular order.
1.) Seinfeld 2.) The Big Bang Theory 3.) Buffy The Vampire Slayer 4.) The Walking Dead 5.) Game of Thrones
There are many shows I have loved over the years such as Friends, True Blood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Angel, Highlander, Eastbound And Down, Married With Children, as well as cartoons such as Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Scooby Doo, Family Guy, American Dad, and South Park.
But I feel the 5 above are my all time favorites. Just very entertaining, and very well written. Perfect shows really.
