Joey Splashwater would have been brilliant.

Yeah. Apparently he's not the most creative guy, but he should've come up with something better than that. Maybe his favourite book series is Adrian Mole, and his favourite Footballer is Gary Neville or Gary's dad Neville Neville ( I'm joking about everything of course. Except for Neville Neville, that's his name) Haha his name always made me think of the Neville brothers. I think Neville Neville would be a better name than Adrian Neville. I'm sure I've read that Adrian Neville is based on someone/something from wrestling's past, but it's such a bad name. I wonder if he'll change it again before he gets called up. He's got the kind of face that needs a mask anyway, so he might get more of a gimmicky name if they put him under one.

I've always wondered what John Cena or Randy Orton's names would be if they had come up these days where the WWE forces goofy names on everybody.
John Cena - Chip Johnson? Chet Jones? Beef Brockly? Wedge Hamshammer?
Randy Orton - Keith Randall? Vic Viper? Slick Watkins? Rex Rutledge?
The possibilities are endless.

What's the actual reasoning behind WWE not letting wrestlers keep their Indie names?

I bet they have some kind of random name generator, matching up a random first name with a random last name.

Adrian Neville has to be one of the worst names I've ever heard. It beats PAC. What's the actual reasoning behind WWE not letting wrestlers keep their Indie names? It's so they can copyright it themselves.

How is John Morrison allowed to keep his name on the Indys? Well, local indies constantly promote using WWE names. That said, does he go by John Morrison or just Morrison? He could get away with the latter based just on that being someone else's name.
