Snow in Cairo for the first time in over 100 years. Should we be worried or excited? lol

Nothing will happen in our lifetime, like a big apocalypse or anything so I'd say we should be excited.

I have rarely been so happy to be alive in this age. Truly immaculate. A serious eyebrow raiser as it relates to the severity of climate change, but still breathtaking.

There are (at least) 12 people in the world who were alive the last time snow fell in Cairo.

It's currently 54 degrees in Cairo. So it's doubtful there's really any snow left. The stories of snow in Cairo appear to be legitimate though, but it looks like it's just a dusting.

Goddammit! I'm pretty sure the pyramids are real though. Unless someone can find out.

This is how it looks in my area a few years back. Right before we got a huge storm that put 3 feet on the ground in one night. Egypt got nothing on the Adirondacks
