I would rather see the Usos and 3mb than more Foley, Mysterio and Ziggler.

This as well as some 3MB!! I can see PTP and even 3MB at some point getting elites, but they would need to be spread out. Same with the Usos if they did decide to make them. They couldn't put a both members (or all 3 in 3MB's case) in the same set or they would clog the pegs. As I said above for the Usos once the collectors got theirs they'd sit as parents wouldn't be willing to pick up the whole team at $17 + a figure just because it's Tuesday. They would need a special occasion like a holiday or birthday for that. I do agree. From an Elite Collector's view, I want any and all super stars in Elite from. From a parent or child's perspective, unless they see these people on TV, they won't want them and parents especially won't want to spend more than $10 on people who are irrelevant to their children.

I just don't get the love affair on this board for the Usos. Personally I don't even think they should be on WWE television let alone have a figure. There is nothing about them the least bit entertaining. I think last Monday was the first time I ever saw a match of theirs where I was impressed with any move either of them did. One of them threw an opponent into the air and seamlessly did a move as he came back down. (that move impressed me) Then last night they were a bore-fest again. Even with the war paint and ceremonial dance/chant they are boring. I don't see them ever rising above mid-card. As for Basics two their first 2-Pack sat at my local Target for months. Even t0y w!z would pass on them daily. God forbid they were made into Elites and put in the same set. Because after the local collector got theirs they would rot the pegs. Parents have a hard time justifying spending the $17 + it costs for a single Elite now...there's no way they are going to be willing to spend twice as much for two unless it was a special occasion like a birthday or holiday. Regardless if there first two pack was shelf warming(Even though I never saw that two pack ever) we still need a new Usos two pack because that first one is SO OUTDATED I cannot wai to see these two in figure forum again hoping this two pack is awesome because it's been years since there first one.

My main fear is that they will be really expensive and I want see them at retail. Also it's hard to super kick with basics

I'm a fan. I've been hoping for elites for a long time. The updated battlepack will be nice to have though. I like their ring work and their look. I dig the entrance and their music. I think they are fairly over with the live crowds too (kids for sure) . Something about them reminds me of the classic tag teams I grew up with, and miss those days when it was ok to be a career tag team. I honestly think they'd sell just fine as elites.

Personally I don't collect the new guys but honestly they should do elite two packs of tag teams they would sell for sure.

I would love elite versions! Not really much of a basic guy and lets face it, you can't really do a proper superkick with basics. Mattel bring on the Elite USOS!!!!

I'd like to see the entire roster made into Elites. There's really no good reason why they cant be. Obviously not all in one set, but the Usos should be in an Elite set together....they could put a real good Flashback, and 3 other "big names" in the set to balance it out.
PtP in the next set after them. They could be easily the 1-per case guys. Each coming with a t-shirt, and they will get bought.

No offense intended PJ, but just because you're not a fan of them doesn't mean there aren't people out there that enjoy their work and want updated figures of them. As someone else mentioned, they are over just fine with live crowds. It's not like they're coming out to the sounds of crickets (like Curtis Axel for example). I'm sure they appeal to kids also with their colorful attire, painted faces, and war dance.
We all know that certain figures fly off the shelf in some areas and in other places they warm the pegs. I only saw the last Uso 2 pack at retail once and that was after I had already given up looking and ordered it online from Mattel Shop. As long as they are not 2 or 3 per case and stores don't restock 10 cases of the same series, they will sell fine (as Elites or as a new 2 pack).

I said in the past I can see them getting more basic 2-Packs, because parents can and will justify getting 2 figures for $19. But if they are Elites and in the same assortment even at the standard 1 per case figure they'll peg warm. Once collectors get theirs parents aren't going to buy their kids 2 $17 + figures just because it's Tuesday. If it's not a birthday or a holiday they aren't buying two figures for $35 not in today's economy. So after the collectors get theirs they will warm. Because parents will only be buying one or the other. If they are going to put tag teams in elites then they need to spread them out between a few waves. Figure if there's a month or another wave between them there's less of a chance of them clogging the pegs.

Seeing as how WWE has put a lot of effort in restoring the Tag division, Mattel should make a whole Tag Elite Series like the 4 FB Series.
We could get the Uso's, PTP, and maybe even the Real Americans.

Would be sweet if we could get word on this from MDT, if they are planned as elites at all or not.

We could get the Uso's, PTP, and maybe even the Real Americans. This 100% Even if they spaced them out, I would kill for elite tag teams. I look at the rumored elite 28 set and see bray as the only new current guy, showing Bryan, cena, show and triple h. Why couldn't the usos or the ptps take up two spots instead of another cena or triple h? Did they really change their Attires enough to warrant a new figure?

Personally I'll buy any and all Triple H figures, but to answer your question Cena will never be replaced he is the face of the WWE and there will always be a child getting their first. With Cena I look at it like a Batman line every wave will have a new Batman in it. So he is the hero figure of the WWE lines. Now I will say they could swap out Big Show for one of them. but if we get 6 sets of Elites a year then Cena, Bryan & Punk will probably be in 3 of them.

Man, elite Usos would fly off the shelves. Kids and collectors would be all over these. I could picture some kid in Toys R Us doing the Uso chant after finding these on the shelves.

The Usos get plenty of TV time. They have been on Raw, Smackdown or both very week for the past few months, plus jimmy is on total divas. TV time isn't the issue.

Actually, that really put it into perspective for me. It is true, as much as I don't want it to be because I really want some of the lesser names as elites
