I bought my brother the 6" version of the Rocketeer from TRU because he's a fan of Dave Stevens (artist/creator). I was disappointed to see they went back to the clear pegs for hips and legs, which are know to break more easily. I thought they moved away from them when they released Magic the Gathering.

The Barnes & Noble I stopped in had a selection of the retro figures for $5. I picked up Ripley, Kane,the Rocketeer, Buffy, Uma, and a Predator. They had a few others like John Connors, Goonies, Nightmare Before Christmas. The others were full price.

I may have to dip my toes into murder if I can't find that 6inch Rocketeer on Tuesday. I've read that he has something to the effect of the pegs that DC Direct used to use....which saddens me. But still...I'm sharpening a spoon as I type this.

Thanks a million to everyone regarding the sale at Barnes & Noble! I was able to snag the Universal Studios Frankenstein, Wolfman and Mummy for $15!!

I picked up the Jaime Lannister today at Target. This store was selling the GOT figures for $9.99, but they raised the price to $16.99 still cheaper than the $19.99 other Targets are charging.

Reis O'Brien stated nothing new will really be announced until Toy Fair. But we still have a bunch of great stuff coming between now and then, so I think we're set. |
