F. Y.E. has the Summerslam Anthology DVD sets marked down to $9.99 (they were $59.99!). 5 DVDs in each but best of all it is buy one get one free on all wrestling DVDs. I picked up 1988 thrift 1997 for $10.66 total after tax!
I know it has nothing to do with Mattel but I figured most eyeballs were on this forum. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all

I wish the WWE would do more Anthologies like the King of the Ring's or In Your House's. I have been disappointed we didnt get Volumes 3 and 4 of the Survivor Series ones as well.

Ok first one I chose to watch was Summerslam 1990
I have realized
We really need a Reverand Slick
We really, really need a Bobby Heenan (God he's great!)
I really hope this WM Heritage Mr Perfect does him justice
I can't wait until Crush gets his Demolition figure
We really really need a Jim Neidhart figure
We really need an Earthquake figure
Would love a Queen Sherri figure, but I guess the RSC one will do otherwise
Please give us the Classic Tag Team belts in some upcoming releases. We need some more
We need a Red LOD
Personally I would kill for a Brother Love!!
Would love a Virgil and a VAC Million $ Belt and a M$M Elite (white or green)
Will take all the Warriors and Machos that they want to make
Of course we need Hogan and a long haired Rick Rude too! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another thing I noticed / re realized! Wrestlers are so much more athletic nowadays, but damn they used to make a PPVs feel special and they made it feel like every match was important and meant something
Some kind of story was told or seeds planted for months down the road (I think Sgt Slaughter was just heel Drill Sgt Slaughter here, but with Brother Love he planted the seeds while messing with Nikolai Volkoff, that he supported Sadaam Hussan) and it just seems like lots of things just feed into each other
I know they have more tv time to fill and a $hitload of PPVs (compared to the old Big 4) but they could really learn something from watching these late 80's early 90's shows
