Had an order from Ringside for 2 Flashback Lesnars and several other figures. Didn't open the stuff for a couple weeks. Went to open them and one was fine, the others leg was loose at the pet that connects to the crotch and the leg comes off as I am examining it. I email Ringside and send a picture, no response. I email them again about a week and a half later and attach the picture again and I am told to contact Mattel.
Is this right? Is this how they normally handle faulty items?

Damn that sucks dude. Mattel can always give u a voucher.

Yeah whenever I have a problem I'm told to contact mattel. Make sure you saved the box. Because Mattel is going to ask for like 5 digit number off the box.

Yeah whenever I have a problem I'm told to contact mattel. Make sure you saved the box. Because Mattel is going to ask for like 5 digit number off the box. The # can also be found at the bottom of the boot on the figure I believe....I had gotten an elite Cody Rhodes figure at reported or to them with the number printed on the foot. They happily sent me a voucher for a free figure!

Are you serious? The exact same thing happened with my Brock that came with the Batista 2 pack. I won't buy from them again if they give me that crap.

What is the voucher worth Mattel gives? Since this is a RSC exclusive, it is not the reg price of a figure bought at retail. I have never had a figure break so this is a bit new to me.

Ringside SHOULD at least take care of their exclusives, since they can only be purchased on THEIR site.

That's why it's best to open your packages as soon as they arrive. Making a claim weeks later raises a red flag that item must've broke because you were playing/posing it.

I get it, but that is a bad business practice. If they would like to see the product with no scratches on it, or the rest of the order minus Brock still in package, they could request it from me. Problem is they have an exclusive that is defective, within a few weeks of the order....I guess I believe as other online retailers would, take care of their customers. ESPECIALLY considering the markup Ringside has on their products.

From the time the order arrived to when I opened and noticed the figure, about 2 weeks. After no response to the first email, almost another 2 weeks before I emailed them again.
