Love 1 & 2, don't mind 3, 4 was just **** and i refuse to watch 5.
Back on topic, when Kevin throws the bricks at Harry & Marv, then Marv has double vision is so hilarious.

I think it's a fairly good follow up to the 1st one, I quote this movie quite a bit in random places like "Howdy-do this is Peter McAllister, the father.", "Credit Card, you got it.", "Merry Chistmas ya filthy animal & a Happy New year."
I also always crack up at Marv when he gets electrocuted, especially when he randomly turns into a skeleton. Always cracks me up.
Yeah, the pigeon lady is kind of lame, I kind of liked the old guy form the first one, cause his story did actually go somewhere, her on the other hand, just gets a dove, that's all I remember.
Haven't seen it for a while, but I usually catch it whenever it's on. Didn't mind the 3rd one, but the 4th, ugh, I want that time back and erased, horrible garbage. And they've made a 5th, talk about milking a dead horse.

I have not seen the third one. For me it ends and begins with Culkin.

I love them and I am 31 yrs old now. I have shown them to my kids and nephews through the years. We usually watch them before Christmas but didn't get around to it this year.
I like the 2nd one more than the 1st really. Just good, funny movies in my opinion. Great for kids. It's not the Godfather, but that's not what its trying to be. I have seen the 3rd and it was decent. Didn't know there were any after that.

I watched both in succession a few years ago, and the drop in charm is very noticable in 2. It's still an okay movie, perfectly fine family film for Christmas, but I think the first Home Alone is genuinely pretty good all-around.
But I do have new appreciation for it after watching Home Alone 4 this year...they mixed up freakin' Marv and Harry, and used the same cast of characters with totally different actors. Blech.

It's my favorite one from the series. So much fun. Nothing like being a kid with access to your dads credit card and running amok in a fance hotel and all over NYC.

I love how in the first Home Alone, Kevin is just trying to stop the Wet Bandits from robbing his house, and then in the second one he is straight up trying to murder them
