My first flask that I ordered (by mistake actually)if I do end up doing this collection:  The next one I'm going to buy (the one I originally intended to buy):  Guess I'll take it from there. If you guys know of any places to buy Flasks that are themed/nerdy/cool let me know. |

So as many of you know, I work at a comic shop and if you ever run into a problem with comics being a bit banged up at your local shops, let me show you how boxes show up from Diamond--sometimes (basically the only comic distributor). Is your distribution from Atlanta? That's where my shop's was. The shipments were so messed up, one of the higher-ups at Diamond personally handled the complaints for the shop (Lisa Marie, in case you know her, though she's been gone for some years now). They moved the warehouse to the ghetto and the crew was too afraid to go to work, so it was honestly run by crackheads getting money for their next fix. |

I think there is really only two main ones in the country, but they are huge. Nah, not a name I know, but they basically end up calling once a week at least for various things. Their workers don't know what they are doing. Also, from what I understand, they are basically lobots. |

This was one box (of several) from our reorder today, this wasn't a standard size box actually, the normal "double boxes" are maybe 3/5 this size. (not the main shipment) We've had perfect reorders, ocassioanlly, but in my six years there we've never had a totally perfect shipment where everything we ordered showed up correctly and without any damages. There is always something missing, or they send us something crazy, always some damages... yeah edit: Explanation. The reorders are orders that generally consist of trades, graphic novels, comics and stuff we've already had in once and we are just restocking... or stuff that was missing from our regular shipment. |
