THE ABRIDGED HISTORY OF (Colonel) DAMIEN SANDOW IN FCW

This is a guy that I liked when he was in FCW in late 2011, even before he made his main roster debut and before everyone else liked him (yes, I am playing the hipster card).
It' also a certain hairline that we've forgotten about. He's gotten really good at hiding it, though.
2002- young upstart Aaron Stevens had a couple of tryout matches against Heat legends like Raven and Steven Richards
"Hey Raven do you even 6'4'', bro?"
2003- he's actually playing the Easter Bunny here
2002-06ish (??)- he plays the womanizing Aron "The Idol" Stevens in OVW, with Beth Pheonix as his "sugar" to Shelly Martinez/Ariel's "spice".

Looks like he even got a match with cena in 2006ish, damn. From what I remember, 2006ish Idol Stevens was the boss of OVW.
2006- Main roster spot.. but he's put in a vanilla tag team with KC James and they are of coursed managed by michelle mccool.
"Aaron" is dropped from his name and he is now simply "Idol Stevens". Are_you_

Here's their titantron/theme but whoever made it took out KC James.
They lost to London and Kendrick who, though exciting and the long-time WWE tag champs, had zero support from management. That shows you how much management cared for these two young beefy guys. I think Michelle got hurt and they just sent both of these guys down to OVW again. Eventually Aaron is sent down and eventually released in like, 2007. What the heck. They didn't even give him a chance. Sorta like what's going on now. But I continue..
Between his firing and 2010 rehire-
He ends up in Puerto Rico, wrestles a lot in WWC, and gets put into awkward music videos set to Tom Sawyer covers
His hair is short and noticably receding at this point. Guess the "Tom Sawyer" cover is his theme song

OFFICIAL FCW DEBUT as a generic guy in Bam Bam Bigelow tribute trunks.. using SEAN O'HAIRE'S "COME ON" SONG!!!
Eventually started using the Dvorak song with his "Colonel" gimmick
Teamed with TITUS O'NEIL, won fcw titles.. Titus was heel at this time from what I understand, but Damien slowly tones down the colonel gimmick, wrestles in trunks with a cool eagle logo, and turns on Titus, turning Titus face.

So, now it's september/octoberish 2011, and he's a generic heel in FCW and he's slowly going to convert in a "class and prestige" guy.
Eventually win the FCW 15 Championship, a very interesting little medal title that is contested in "most falls in 15 minute" matches..
GREAT match, these two can really tell a story, EACH could be top heels today with a little booking..
Match with generic Leo Kruger, fellow heel, basically #2 champ vs #1 champ of Florida..
And the week right after, he and kruger are buddies, Damien debuts his pink undies, and they face THE SHIELD

Notice the "spotlight PLEASE" that a certain Aiden English uses these days. Damien did this a few times but I can't find any others right now.
He loses the 15 medal to Richie Steamboat, hits him with a wrench once, and gets ready for a call-up with his more specific, less intense, somewhat hokey "Intellectual Savior" gimmick. And let's end it there.
perhaps I'll do more of the conversion of "class" guy to "intellecutal saviour" if I get bored later on.
I also want to find his FCW bio from the "colonel" era where it talks about him being a libertarian, "America sucks because of you" gimmick.
Point is- damien is experienced as
, talented as
, and deserves better. His Dvorak song is sick.
He also has a poor hairline that banter should be proud of.
