I was mod of the Backyard bouts a few years ago.. I'm friends with everyone that posted there..I wanted to do a good job as mod, but also didn't wanna piss off my friends. I'd be a terrible mod for many reasons, one is if I got bored, I'd probably abuse my power |

I just spent an hour looking at 10+ year old threads in the admin board about me being recommended for mod spots. Fascinating. I always wanted to be a mod. Just throwin that out there lol. You have a great history here, so I will definitely keep that in mind if any spots open up. |

I don't mess around with fireworks anymore. Had one blow up in my hand once as a kid (fortunately i lost no fingers and just had no feeling in my hand for a few minutes), and not too long ago got shot in the thigh by one. It hit my thigh so hard and was so hot it burned through my jeans and gave me a massive bruise and burn that took forever to heal. I consider myself lucky. No more fireworks for me. Wimp. I got hit in the mouth two years ago. My face went numb, everything tasted like gunpowder, including the blood in my mouth, and my lips swelled up to the point that I looked like Lisa Rinna. The best part? I didn't fire the bottle rocket. In fact, I had it burned into my brain not to use fireworks because they're dangerous and have actually never lit anything more dangerous than black cats. Yeah I didn't fire the one that hit my leg either. It was on New Years Eve and I was standing off a good ways to the side. I guess I am just "lucky." |
