"Rock n' Roll" Buck Zumhofe- a deplorable scumbag.

One of my best pay days, was wrestling Buck 2 nights in a row. The guy knew how to make money in small towns throughout this area, and I'm gonna sorta miss seeing Rock & Roll Wrestling. I've known guys who worked for Buck on a regular basis, and 1 guy in particular once said when he (Buck) and his daughter (who co-promoted with him), would argue, they sounded like they were "married". I've talked to his daughter over the phone couple times and finally got to meet her at the last R&R show I attended (wasn't on the card, just visiting), and she was uber nice. On the other hand, I was also hanging out with Buck and his workers after the event as well. The 2 hardly spoke, from what I recall - when hanging out recreationally like that, they only interacted when they had to, before/during the show. Out of respect for Buck and his daughter, I never inquired about what was going on in their personal lives.

I heard she met a guy down in Vegas while attending the annual CAC, and he sorta gave her the courage to finally come forward and testify against him. I guess she's married to the guy she met in Vegas, now (last I heard).

I can't speak for Buck's other wrestlers, but personally, the rumor did float around that there was something between the 2 of them... but that's as far as it was, just a rumor. But when the news story broke out last year, I was not shocked, not one bit. All it did was solidify the rumor. And I feel bad for his daughter, for what she had to go through. I also don't condone Buck's actions, he's a grown man who knew what he was doing and has to face the consequences. But her coming forward, I hope, will heal any damage done to her psyche.

Glad the media didn't him as "former WWE star." He was the first victim of the Undertaker bodybag.

I can see him doing something bad to his daughter and thinking it's all OK, "I'm a star." From reading interviews he's done, he seems to have a high opinion of himself.
The rock & roll gimmick is something I think even 1980s Vince would know was silly. And it's not like the Undertaker bodybag was anything amazing. It only lasted a few months.

Molestation is a horrific crime that leaves victims with unseen scars even years later.

Former AWA wrestler Eugene "Buck" Zumhofe was sentenced to 310 months in prison this week on first-degree and third-degree counts of criminal sexual conduct for molesting his daughter for years, beginning when she was 15 years old.

Zumhofe's lawyer requested a stay in prison time and probation so he could receive treatment and counseling but that was denied by the judge. Zumhofe must spend a minimum of 17 years in prison before he's eligible for release. Zumhofe was also ordered to serve 10 years of post-release probation and register as a sex offender. Assistant County Attorney Aaron Welch asked the judge to double Zumhofe's sentence to over 51 years due to his previous criminal sexual conduct and the fact that his crime was against a family member. The judge denied that also.

Should've been a life sentence...

Technically he is. At 17 years, he'd be 80 if he got released.

What a head. He gets what he deserves.
