I think Hulk Hogan and John Cena vs CM Punk and Roddy Piper would be cool, assuming they are serious about having Hogan and Piper work a match. That might be a gimmick match, but one that could land in the main event with very little issue imo.
I still tend to believe that we are going to see Hogan and Cena vs The Wyatt Family in some capacity. It may involve Bryan, it may not, but I do expect to see that happen. Piper could always do a Piper's Pit or guest referee a match. If Orton vs CM Punk happens for the title, I would love to see Piper be the referee.

I would love a 6 man tag with Cena/Hogan/Punk vs the shield and have Punk turn heel and GTS hogan and Cena and be revealed the new leader of The Shield and go heel again and cut crazy promos with Ambrose and the reason would be because they were about to break up and needed a savior for the group which could also help Punk go back to the type of heel he was with SES and have Shield be Punks slaves.

I'm not even kidding....I would mark the living hell OUT if they booked Hogan vs. Piper at WM30
c'mon people, just take your 5 star expectations out of the basket and just enjoy the nostalgia of seeing those guys go at it in the ring 30 years after they started it. if they could get Orndorff & Bob Orton involved as well that would be awesome.
i think ive heard or read that Mr. T wants nothing to do with wrestling ever ever, which is a shame.

I wish they'd just shelve The Shield breakup for a while.....
Have The Shield "take over" an Old School Raw, and spend a few weeks tormenting/attacking legends...
Then build up to Cena/Hulk Hogan/Roddy Piper against The Shield at WrestleMania 30.
The story of the match would be that Cena has to carry the old guys, and it's a burden to him.... but then they actually out-perform and kind of hold their own (you know, that old "WrestleMania Magic").....
This would be great... THEN have The Shield IMPLODE when they lose to Cena/Old Guys..... and you've got your summertime feud.
That's how I would book it....

I have zero desire to see Hogan do anything outside of working with Cena. If he's able, Hogan vs. Cena -- if not -- Hogan & Cena vs. whoever. I would have thought that they learned their lesson from the Piper/Snuka exchange at the Royal Rumble... 6 years ago.You mean that part that got one of the biggest pops of the evening and was as memorable as any other part of that Rumble, save for the ending? |

Put him in the streak match with the Undertaker It'd be cool, but hogan could barely sell the chokeslam in 2002...I doubt he could in 2014, unless he was chokeslammed on a soft bed. I think hogan could pull off a half a*sed match with cena only if its lots of carrying and selling on cena's part...and lots of storytelling and crowd working on hogan's. |

well its a limited option for them....as I understand it he cant bump.so maybe a tag match with Cena is the way to go.....and have his involvement limited.but I cant see it being against Cesaro and Swagger. It'd have to be against either them or the Wyatts. Could be Hogan, Cena and Bryan in a six man. I could see the Wyatts being more likely....its ahrd to say but we will have a clearer picture after RR!! |

I hate seeing someone (Piper, I hate Snuka with a passion) fall so far that I was always a fan of when they're out of shape or look like shit. If this was 10 years ok i'd be all for having the Hulkster but nowadays I honestly don't give a damn about seeing him. He's just another washed up legend to me.
Give me Austin or The Rock at Wrestlemania anyday though. Hell, i'd rather see Ric Flair at Wrestlemania.

I LOVE the idea of Hogan/Cena vs. Real Americans because it keeps them out of the title scene and gives Cesaro a much-deserved main event match.

I'd love to see Hogan Vs Cena if Hogan could still go. Though I don't really think Cena needs it at this point. Punk Vs Hogan would actually be more appealing to me.

Now that that's out of the way, the main reason I like any of these matches involving Cena is that he won't be anywhere close to the title picture. He would still be a main event match, but not in a title match for the first time since... wait, Cena has always been in a title match at WrestleMania. From US title vs. Show to WWE title vs. Rock. WWE needs some new faces in the title picture.
